The Alpha King’s Mistake by BlackFlame

Chapter 104 (Harper Alizah Grace’s POV)

“Wake up, Rie. We are here now,” I wake him up carefully. A few second later, he’s eyes slowly opened. When he saw that it was me wake him up, there’s a small smile formed in his lips. He rub his eyes gently as he sat down and yawned.

“Are we?” he asked. I nodded and answered yes to confirm. “Oh.” That’s the only thing he replied before looking in front.

“Where is Uncle Troy and Aunt Sam?” He asked again. “They get outside first.” He nodded his head. “I see, shall we get outside now then.”

“Yeah, sure. Come on,” I opened the door and assist him. I admitted, I was amazed by what I see. This is just the entrance of the place yet already beautiful. There’s a lot of plants around, flowers and trees. Indeed refreshing and away from trouble.

“Oh there they are, Harp, Rie over here” I heard Samantha exclaimed. I looked around to see where they are, they were located near the first guest house.

“Let’s there,” I told to Rie. He nodded his head and took my hand. While walking towards there, I noticed that Troy were talking to some man. Maybe, one of the employees or probably the owner of this land.

“Greetings, your royal highness.” the man quickly greeted Uriel as soon he saw him. Rie just nodded his head and hold into my hand even tighter. I look at him, is there any problem?

“Pardon his reaction, he’s not just used to someone calling him his royal highness. He preferred Young master or his name itself.” Troy explained. I see.

“That’s just okay, your highness.” The man replied.

“Yeah, can we roam around the place now?” He asked him. The man nodded his head, “Sure, Do as what you please your highness, enjoy.”

“Before we go, can I ask something?” I decided to talk. The man looked at me, “Sure, my lady.”

“May I know who’s the owner of this place?” I asked curiously.

“You will know later, she’s really secretive and mysterious.” He choose to answer. So, the owner is a she. Impressive.

“Alright.” I replied. “Shall we will go then.” I continued.

“Sure, please follow me.” He said as he lead the way. While we are walking, I am observing the surroundings. This place, there’s something very odd that I can’t tell. Then, realization hits me…

This is the place in my vision, where I can find the woman. My brow slightly furrowed, “Ummmh, can I roam around with my own?” I asked them. All of them glanced at me, “That’s just fine, my lady.” The man said, oh, until now I still don’t know his name.

“Can I go with you, Harper?” I heard Uriel asked me, I looked on his direction. He’s looking with me with hope in his eyes. Oh, sadly, he can’t go with me this time because I have something to do.

“Maybe later, this will be just quick. I’ll you guys later,” I gently decline. I saw him nodded in understanding.

“Alright then, see yah later.” I nodded and gently give him a smile.

“See yah, Sam, Troy.” They nodded in return. As I saw that, I took the other direction.

Where should I go? And where I can find that woman in my vision? I stopped walking and take a deep breath. Maybe, I’ll just need to follow my instinct. Letting out a sigh, I started to walk again. Let my feet bring me to my destiny.

A few minutes later, I found myself in front of a mystic green house. From where I’m standing at, I already ca see what’s inside. This place is great, I look where the entrance located at, and then got yah.

From my right side, I saw the glass door so I decided to get inside to take a look even further. And I’m not wrong, this place is giving me magical vibes, a smile slowly formed into my lips. I miss this kind of place, I remember when my father were still alive, he made something like this behind the pack house.

He told me a story why he made that green house. He said that it is because of my mother. It was on the pack’s garden where he first time saw her, and he fell in love. I don’t have any memories with my mother but my father had.

While he was telling me those old stories, I can see that he loved my mother even if a few years later she leave him, us. I don’t know the reason why, and I’m too young to even ask that when my father were still alive.

I grow up with the thought that my mother leave me because she don’t want me. Or we are not important enough for her to stay. Well, that doesn’t matter anymore, she leave, my father and the pack died.

And all I have is myself. I let out a sigh and closed my eyes. So much about the past, why am I thinking about that matter anyway?

I opened my eyes and started to travel. I just noticed now that there is a small fountain inside this green house. Cool, there’s a lot of butterfly flying inside too.

“Are you enjoying yourself, young lady?” I nearly jump in shock when someone suddenly talked behind me. Geez, who might it be? I calm down myself and slowly looked behind.

There I saw a woman, a beautiful woman. Who is she? Then realization hits me, this is… this is the woman in my vision. I blinked twice to make sure that it’s not just a mere illusion. Well, damn, it’s not, it’s really her.

“Oh sorry if I startled you.” She quickly apologized. All I can do is to stare at her, she’s somewhat familiar, did I saw her before except in the vision?

“Well?” The woman talked again. I blinked again and composed myself.

“That’s just fine, I didn’t notice you behind.” I answered with a small smile. She nodded and walked closer to me. What is she doing? I was slightly confused when I saw her expression, she looked sad then happy at the same time. I wonder why?

“Can I hug you?” I was shocked when she asked that. Wh-what? why she wanted to hug me?

“I just wanted to hug you, will you let me?” She continue. I… I just met her now. Who knows what type of person she is.

“I know this is just weird, but I’m not a bad person.” She said like she just read my thought, or she just did? I blinked twice again, not really know what to do. Maybe, I’ll just let her. I slowly nodded and smile a little.

I don’t why, but when the time she embraced me. I feel something, I feel the warm. She hug me tightly like she don’t want to let me go. I tapped her back, maybe she’s just too sad and she wanted someone to comfort her.

Slowly, she pulled her hug away. And look at me, directly in the eyes. “You already grow,” She said that made me even confused.

“Sorry, did we met before?” I asked in confusion. She shook her head, “No, but I know you. and who really you are.” What? Is she just pulling a prank on me?

“I’m sorry but I don’t know what you are talking about.” I seriously answer. But instead of getting offended by how I talk, she smiled.

“I know you don’t remember me, and don’t want to know me. But wanted you to, if you just let me.” I stared at her. Know what?

“What should I know?” She took my hand while looking at me.

“There’s a lot of things you need to know about yourself. Some of your memories is not true as what you thought, some were just a lie.” My brow furrowed. What does she mean about that, I don’t understand.

“I know this is confusing you a lot but I hope after this, you will learn to accept your fate.”

“Accept my fate?” I asked her. She nodded, “Yes, are you willing to take a risk?”

I might be confused as hell know, but I wanted to know who really I am too. I nodded my head, “Yes.” “Alright then, come with me.” This is very risky, but she’s the woman in my vision, she might be an enemy but I need to trust her now.

“Okay, lead the way.”

“Follow me.” She said and started to walk. I just followed her behind. I saw her touch a gemstone then a secret door inside the green house open. That was unexpected and quite amazing. She look at me and sign to enter.

“This hallway is connected to my personal room, no one can enter except me and the those person I invited in.” She informed me.

“I see, oh wait, you’re the owner of this place?” I asked her. She glanced at me and shook her head, “Not really. This place was owned by my friend who passed away five years ago.” That’s so sad.

“I’m sorry to hear that.” She nodded. “No worries, Jessa is good where she is right not.”

“Anyway, here we are. Please get inside.” She said and pointed the door in front of us.

“Okay.” As I entered, I was amazed on what I saw. It’s an underwater house, the ceiling is a thick transparent glass, wherein it’s allowing me to see the fishes swimming freely above. Such a great house idea.

“Please have a sit.”

“Thank you.” I walk towards her sofa and sat there.

“I II just get something, I’ll be back later.” She said.

“This is not some kind of trap right?” I joked.

She smiled, “Of course not, honey.” She replied before turning her back on me. I just smile a little too, even if this is a trap, I will always think a way to surpass it.

“Here, drink this. It will help you to remember,” She said and gave me a bottle of potion. I look carefully on the violet-colored liquid. It’s indeed a potion too remember, I did something like that three years ago.

When Cindy got a temporary amnesia caused by car accident. It’s quite effective it’s just a pity that I can’t use the potion to myself, because if I did, the result will be the opposite. I will forget some events of my life.

I slowly get the potion in her hand. Do I really need to do this? I think I don’t forget something, or did I? I really don’t know.

I look at the potion then to her, “Before I drink this, may I know why are you doing this?” I asked seriously.

She just smile, “You will know the answer after you drink that.” That’s the only thing she replied.

Alright. I stared on the potion first before I decided to drink it. I should be ready on what I will remember.
