Chapter 111 (Harper Alizah Grace’s POV)
I hold on a tree to get some support when I feel like I was about to lose my balance. I’m damn thirsty and still bloody now, I can run now because it will just drain my energy, I can’t that happen because if will, I faint again. I look at the sky, it’s turning dark now. The rain is threating to fall, such a great and nice timing eh? I’m alone in the woods, not knowing if I’m still able to go back in the camp site. A sad smile crept into my l*ip, they were right, Amanda is right.
It’s me who is wrong, I shouldn’t hid my identity. I should let them know, I just realized now, I’ve been too h*ard, too h*ard to trust, too h*ard to say my feeling, to h*ard to show my true emotions. It’s not only them whom I’m kidding with, but to myself also. I live on the thoughts of just protecting them by keeping my true self. How pathetic of I. I know some will accept me, and some will not. Some will love me by the way I am, and of course some will hate me. I sigh and closed my eyes, I’m so confused on what really I’m going to do. I slowly sat down, I can’t help but to burst into tears. I’m so f*uc*king upset now, I feel lonely.
I rested my head on my knees as I cried. I can’t go back, I’m too tired and emotional. I hope… I just hope that someone will look for me. Even just this once, I wish they will also look for me. I’m tired of being left alone.

“Harper! She’s here, Alpha!” I heard someone shout. I didn’t bother to open my eyes, but an happy smile formed in my l*ip. They looked for me, he look for me. I felt someone lifted me up, by his scent I know it was him. He carried me in bridal way.
“What happen to you?” I heard Lance asked me. He probably see the blood on my body, I didn’t answer, instead, I hug my mate tightly.
“Ask her later, Lance. “He answered for me. “Alright, take care of her then.”
“I will.” That made me cry, he’s not mad at me.
“I’m sorry.” I whispered, my voice can barely heard but I know he heard it. “Don’t talk, explain yourself when you’re fine.” I nodded my head and buried my face on his neck. “Sleep.” He gently told me. I nodded once again, I will, I’m too tired.
I feel someone holding my hand when I wake up, he’s sitting beside me while I’m asleep. “Zach,” I called his name softly. He slowly opened his eyes and look at me, “You’re awake now, how do you feel? “He asked me, worry can be hear in his voice.
“Fine, how long I’ve been asleep? I asked him while attempting to sat down but I didn’t realized, I can’t move up with my own. Did I drained myself that much. He guided me to sit down on the bed.
“You’ve been asleep for two days,” I look at him quickly. What two days? Is he kidding me? When he see my reaction, he chuckled. “I’m just kidding you know, you’re just unconscious for two hours.” I nodded.
“So what happened?” he continue. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. “When I woke up, I wanted to—”
“Ssh I know about that one.” he cute me off. I look at him again, what did he mean?
“When you woke up, I’m awake that time too. You went out so I followed you, then you and Keriza talked. You’re damn feisty that time baby, I love it.” My cheeks bum, so he witnessed that. “After that, you went into the woods to have a run, I think?” I nodded to confirm.
“That’s right.” he nodded. “I followed you, but I lost the vision of you. You run fast babe,” I couldn’t help but to sneer from ear to ear. “Don’t underestimate’s vampire speed darling.” I joked. He chuckled and pulled me closer to him.
“I almost lose you again.” He whispered, i thought he’ll be mad to me again. I’m glad he knew what happened first.
“We might be away into each other not now but later, remember this, you will never going to lose me.” I assured him. He nodded and hugged me even more. “I will remember that, but don’t forget also that I love you, so much.” I’ll remember that also.
“No one can set us apart.” He said as he look directly in my eyes. I smile and t*ouch his cheeks, “No one.” I replied.
“So much with the drama, so what happened?” he asked me again. Will I tell the truth or just lie? Will he believe me if I tell him that I just killed more than twenty rouges vampires a few hours ago? But I guess, I should tell the truth.
“I met rouges and have fight with them.” His expression became serious. “Vampire rouges? “he asked. I nodded my head, “Yes, I don’t have any choice but to fight back.”
“Them? You mean there’s a lot of rouges you fight with?”
“Yeah, but I manage it. I’m not me for nothing,” I said and smirked. He couldn’t help but to chuckle, “Unlucky them, they made a wrong decision of messing up with you.” He’s right.

“Anyway, are you hungry?” he asked me. I shook my head, “Not really, but if you will cook for me then I’ll eat.” I joked. He suddenly stand up, “Sure, wait me here.” he will really going to cook for me?
“Just lay down on the bed, I’ll be back quickly.” He said and wink before leaving. Oh, that man haha. He’s acting very sweet now, I just shook my head and can’t hide the smile on my l*ips. A few minutes later, he come back with a tray of foods on his hand.
“Here is it my queen, I’m your mate at your service.” A laugh escaped from me. That was so unlikely of him, mate at your service my a*ss, haha. “Thank you, mate your service.” I tagged along with his trip. He chuckled and give me my food, “Have a taste, love.” I nodded and have a taste. Oh, he can cook, this is awesome.
“How is it?” he asked me. I look at him seriously, “Terrible.” I joked, the smile on his face dropped. “Just kidding haha. Are you really sure that you’re the one who cook this?” I asked him as I took another bit. He smiled again and proudly nodded, “Yes, I am.” He answered and grin.
“Then you made a good job, come on, join me.” I invited him. “I’m already full just watching your smiles.” That’s cheesy but I love it. I giggled, “You, since when you started to say words like that?” I asked him.
“Since the day I found you,” I raised an eyebrow. “The day you rejected me?” I joked. His eyes widened, “Yes, I already love you that time but I’m too dumb to admit it to myself. You know, cold and stone hearted days. A*sshole version of me.” Well, at least he knew that.
“That’s h*ard to believe. I still remember how you rejected me, you said… Ehem… So you’re my mate? What is your name? then I said… I’m harper Alizah Grace Larkspur, then you said, I’m King Zachary Vance Spencer Montegromery, rejecting you, Harper Alizah Grace Larkspur as my mate and the future queen of werewolves.” I mimicked out voices that time.

“Of course, let’s start over again.” He stared at me with love in his eyes. “I love you.” He whispered, I smile. “I love you too.” He was about to pull me to k*iss but I stopped him, “later babe, I’m still eating.” He pouted but still pulled me closer, “The hell I care. You can eat later.”
He k*issed me on my l*ips as if he owned it, and I just let him. My heart is full of happiness right now, the happiness that I don’t want to end. But knowing reality, when you feel happiness, what next is pain.
