My Rich Hot and Infertile (Or Maybe Not) Husband Chapter 246

Chapter 246
“Do you think that just by apologizing, they’ll realize their mistakes?”
Seeing her dilemma, Mason said, “Over the past few days, I’ve privately communicated with them using the firm’s official account, demanding them to delete their offensive comments and issue apologies on Twitter. I told them that if they didn’t, we’d take legal action. Guess how they responded?”
Celeste just looked at him, saying nothing.
“They all told me to go ahead and sue, and that they wouldn’t delete their comments. Some even edited my private messages to them and posted them on Twitter, claiming they were being threatened and inciting others to criticize me” Mason paused, then added calmly. “They don’t think they’ve done anything wrong. How could they truly apologize?”
How much deterrence could insincere apologies have?
“Convicting them might be difficult, but I can fight for compensation. For people like them, the amount of compensation might be more persuasive. Of course, the focus should be on the adults. And, Mason paused, “do you recognize the name Hanson?”
Celeste shook her head, “Doesn’t ring a bell. Why?”
“That online account was registered by someone named Hanson, residing in J City”
Celeste thought about it, and the fact that someone from the J City used Sydney’s private photo as their profile picture was a bit too coincidental. “Could it be that someone else bought other’s information to register the account?”
“That’s not very likely”
“So you’re saying that either it’s Hanson himself using the account, or someone close to him?”
Mason nodded.
Celeste thought for a long time, but still couldn’t recall the name.
Mason gently said, “If you can’t remember, it’s okay. Maybe I’m overthinking. The account could just be an ordinary fan, with the profile picture happening by chance. That won’t affect our lawsuit against him”
Celeste breathed a sigh of relief but then remembered the matter Mason had mentioned earlier. She whispered, “Sorry for bothering you with this and even getting you attacked by those people.”
Mason smiled and whispered, ‘Being verbally attacked is pretty normal for lawyers. Learning to cope mentally is also one of the required lessons for us” “How do you adjust your mindset?”
Celeste asked seriously
Her problem was that she cared too much about some comments online. For a while, reading those curses and abusive remarks nearly drove her into depression. To be honest, she really needed to master these mental adjustment techniques.
“It’s not a big deal.” Mason looked at her and said very seriously. “The trick is to be shameless.”
Celeste was speechless.
“Is that even considered a trick…
Celeste mumbled, but couldn’t help laughing after all,
Suddenly, she found Mason to be quite an interesting guy: funny, talented, and with a gentle personality that made him easy to approach.
Honestly, he was just perfect.
How could such a perfect person be friends with hot-tempered Liam?
With that question in mind, she asked, “When you were kids, did Liam threaten you with fights and force you to be friends with him?”
Mason chuckled awkwardly and said, “Why would you think that?”
“You’re so nice, how could you possibly be friends with someone like him?”
Just then, Liam happened to walk by the office door and heard this. His face instantly turned dark.
