Mason went quiet for a few seconds before suddenly asking. “Do you have any personal beef with Ms. Denton?”
Celeste stopped in her tracks, holding back a smile, and asked, “Why do you ask?”
Mason enlarged the profile picture of the account that had been attacking her and said, “The hand in this picture belongs to Ms. Denton.”
The profile picture showed a right hand holding a cup of coffee.
Celeste still didn’t get it. Most of the people attacking her were Sydney’s fans, so using Sydney’s picture as their profile picture wasn’t strange at all.
“What’s the problem?” Celeste asked.
“I had a friend use some tech magic to search the entire internet for this picture. It can’t be found on any public platform. Judging from the angle, it looks. like the person holding the coffee took the picture themselves, and it hasn’t been shared anywhere. Last night when Ms. Denton was signing autograph for me, I paid close attention to her hand. The mole on her hand is in the exact same spot as the one in the picture. As she used substitute for hand close-ups in movies, there are no close-up shots of her hands on the internet”
So he had asked Sydney for her autograph just to check out her hand
Celeste finally caught on, “You’re saying this account is Sydney’s own account?”
“If not her, then it’s definitely someone close to her. How would an ordinary person get a private picture like this?” Mason said.
The fact that she was behind the account Celestial Haze was only known to be hers by Trisha and now Mason. Sydney had no idea, so there’s no way personal grudges could be involved.
The only possible reason was the voice acting incident. The show Sydney and Celeste worked on together was a huge success. Celeste’s voice acting not only added depth to the character but also stole some of Sydney’s glamour.
Just because a voice actor stole her glamour, she led her fans to attack others on the internet.

“If it was her, could we win a lawsuit?” Celeste asked.
Mason spoke honestly. Whether or not it’s her personally using the account, the registration info probably isn’t hers. If we sue, her PR team would likely find a scapegoat.”
Celeste looked disappointed, “So, is this the extent of the consequences for online violence?”
“Law can’t restrain morality,” Mason paused, then continued, “but if we don’t fight back, this kind of behavior will only get worse.”
Celeste stayed quiet for a moment before saying, “I want to push forward with the lawsuit! Even if suing Sydney fails, she wanted her popularity to take a
hit!
Mason smiled slightly and said, “I’ll do my best.”
“Do I need to pay a part of the lawyer’s fee first? Celeste suddenly remembered.
Mason laughed, “No rush, we can discuss that when the legal proceedings advance”
Celeste nodded and suddenly remembered the gift she wanted to give Mason. She quickly said, “Wait here, don’t leave!”
She then hurried off.
