My Rich Hot and Infertile (Or Maybe Not) Husband Chapter 678

me.”
Chapter 678
Mason’s gaze softened, “Your mom has good taste. It suits you.”
Celeste’s eyes crinkled at the corners with her smile.
Javier finished his call and returned quickly.
He wanted to continue his chat with Mason, but Naomi, afraid he’d forget about the upcoming shoot, cooed, “Director Javier, when are we starting? I have plans for the afternoon.
That’s when Javier said, “We’ll start as soon as Celeste changes her clothes.” Then he turned to Celeste and added, “Off you go.”
Celeste nodded, gave him a look, and left the room.
The moment she stepped out, her phone rang. It was Trisha, panting on the other end, “Letti, what floor are you on?”
“Second floor,” Celeste paused, a smirk playing on her lips, 1 see you.”
Back in the training room.
Sydney and Naomi were sitting together.
Naomi commented, “She had her clothes ruined, and now she’s putting on a show and going out to change. I can’t wait to see how she explains this to the director”
Sydney asked, “Are you sure you ruined her clothes?”
“I cut them myself and made sure they were unwearable.” Naomi scoffed, “I heard from their dormmate that she threw them in the trash. She can’t possibly be digging them out to put them back on, can she?”
Naomi seemed confident, handing Sydney a cup of coffee, “Sydney, have some coffee. Iced Americano, no sugar. I remember you like it this way.
Sydney thanked her, taking the cup.
She inserted the straw while gazing at the doorway, anticipating Celeste’s entrance.
Around ten minutes later, the door to the training room opened again.
Everyone looked up to find Celeste, now in a pink and white dance outfit, entering their line of sight.
Naomi froze a second later, “How on earth?!”
Sydney’s face hardened.
That waste of space!
“I cut them up to shreds myself. How can they be intact?”
“Enough” Sydney snapped, “Shut up!”
Did this fool want everyone to hear?
She glanced at Mason, then back at Celeste, belatedly realizing what the so–called visit was all about. It was to buy time for the rescue!
She had a hunch. How coincidental that their visitor happened to be Mason
When he saw Celeste arrive, Javier told Mason, “Mason, have a seat. I’ll be done with these shots soon. Then we’ll go to lunch.”
Mason nodded, “You carry on with your work.”
After that, he glanced at Celeste and gave her a discreet thumbs up.
Celeste smiled with her eyes filled with gratitude.
Since they had already run through the scene once, everyone was more familiar with their positions this time around.
They were expecting a smooth run, but just a few shots in, Sydney suddenly tripped while doing a squat and fell to the ground.
Everyone was taken aback.
The actor next to her immediately helped her up, asking with concern, “Sydney, what’s up?”
Sydney shook her head, murmuring, “Got a sudden dizzy spell. Sorry, director”
Javier noticed her expression was off, asking, “You didn’t hurt yourself, did you?”
Normally, if Sydney so much as stubbed her toe on any other set, no matter how minor, people would immediately swarm up to her with concern. But not on Javier’s watch. Because Javier didn’t have a thing for overly sensitive actors, and with Celeste on the scene, Sydney didn’t want to appear less tough. So she said, “I’m fine.”
“Let’s carry on then.”
Sydney was helped up. Celeste glanced at her, saying calmly, “Don’t push yourself if you’re not feeling well.”
