Chapter 118 (Harper Alizah Grace’s POV)
“Any news?” I asked her while watching the warriors passing by outside my cage. Three more days had been passed, still the same, no food, no water. They were seriously torturing.
“I had, I’ve heard a news from my husband.” She answered honestly. That’s good, “What it is then?” I asked once again. I’m using my cold voice because it is not because I gave her second chance means I already forgive her. Actually, in this life time, she was the last person I’ve think of betraying me. But unfortunately, she betrayed me, real hard.
She give me to my mate even if she knew that my life will be on danger if I’ll be in his hand. Like seriously, Almost one week of staying here was a pure torture. I let out a sigh and averted my glance outside. I lay down on the bed and just stared on the dark ceiling.
“My husband told me that the king was planning to attack the vampire Kingdom in less than two weeks. But as for now, they having some mirror attack near the Vampire territory.” That’s predictable already, knowing him, he hated vampires more than he hated humans.
But I just don’t understand, why? The vampire don’t want anything except of having peace and unity. Is peace really hard to get? Oh right? Even true love, how much more on peace?

“Alright, one more thing. I saw him and Keriza talking last night, and I’ve heard that they were looking someone who will break the bond and mark between the two of you. I know that sound ridiculous, I don’t even understand why he hated you so much. Maybe that Keriza b*itch brainwashed him again,” that gotten my attention. What? Again?
“What do you mean about that?” I asked her seriously.

“My husband told me before that, Keriza and him used to have this sweet yet bitter relationship. She was his first love, I bet you know already about that one.” I nodded my head even if she can’t see me.

“I see, continue with the news then. What’s next, did they find someone who can help them?” I asked.

Please don’t get offended.” She asked me calmly but I can hear fear in her voice. Maybe she’s afraid that she might be get me offended.
“Oh sure, say it right away.” I let her. I heard her take a deep breath before starting to talk.
“Ummh why don’t you just show your power Harp? I mean, the vampires knew about it already right?” Right, but as for now, I trust them more than werewolves.
“You don’t trust us don’t you?” She asked me directly.
“What do you think so?” I asked instead. She went silent. “I know you’re mad on us, but all of us didn’t abandoned you. It was him,” really?
“Didn’t abandoned but betrayed Amanda.” I snapped.
“I’m sorry.” I let out a sigh. “Alright, I can’t blame you though. You’re just protecting your family and reputation. I get that, but at least you should tell it to me honestly, you should warned me. I’m shock that time, I trusted you Amanda.”
“I know, I know that’s why I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you, you know that right?” I know, but it still hurts. “We should stop talking about that one. Just do what I said Am,” all she did is to hum as a response. “And more think, work silently, I don’t want you to get hurt. You’re pregnant, a mother already Am. “Anyway, this will be the last part of my report. If they will break the bond, you will be either executed or remove us the queen. And if that will happen, Keriza will replace you.” I see.

With one last glance, it flew away. The warriors didn’t even notice it, somewhat dumb. I just shook my head and go back on the bed. I lay down there, but before I closed my eyes, the door suddenly opened.
