Chapter 471
Celeste was slow to react. “Did you bring me to the hotel?”
“Don’t you remember?” Mason asked, “I wanted to talk to you about the defamation lawsuit last night, but when I called, it was the restaurant owner who answered. He said you were drunk and asked me to pick you up.”
Celeste frowned, and with Mason’s reminder, she vaguely seemed to have some impression. They seemed to have gone to the beach, but she couldn’t remember what was said. She only remembered that she seemed to have slapped Mason
Celeste was so embarrassed she could barely speak
“I seem to remember a bit “Celeste coughed, “Did I go crazy and hit you when I was drunk?”
Mason paused, “Don’t you remember anything?”
Celeste tentatively asked, “Was there anything worse?”
“Does using my clothes to wipe your nose count?”
Celeste was once again speechless.
She was so embarrassed that she wished she could dig a hole and crawl into it.
She had been talking about Liam, but when Liam got drunk, he just messed with her. She, on the other hand, messed with strangers when she was drunk.
“I really don’t remember. Where are your clothes? I’ll take them to be cleaned later.”
Mason smiled, “Just kidding.” He handed her the clothes he was holding. “You should tidy up first. We’ll talk about the lawsuit on the way”
Celeste sighed with relief, “Okay.”
Adriana Reilly had just left her hotel room when she bumped into Celeste in the hotel hallway. Celeste was standing at the door, talking to someone, and a man soon came out of the hotel room. They walked together toward the elevator.
Adriana was stunned, Celeste actually spent the night in a hotel with another man!
She hurriedly took a few photos with her phone and sent them to the group. “Kaylee, I saw your sister–in–law at the hotel this morning! She’s with another man!”
Kaylee had stayed up late talking to Shanna Fletcher and was still asleep. Her phone kept ringing, and she got annoyed, so she picked it up to check. Suddenly, she was wide awake.
Adriana didn’t know Mason well, so she couldn’t recognize him. But Kaylee was very familiar with him and recognized him from his back alone. The coat he was weaning was the same one he wore when he left the house last night.
He said he was going to see a client, but he was actually going to see Celeste!
She was so angry that she looked at the pictures of the two people on her phone and rushed downstairs.
Skyler was watering the flowers when she saw Kaylee running down the stairs without shoes and hurried to meet her. She frowned and asked, “What happened?”
Kaylee said angrily, “Mom, that terrible woman Celeste, she’s seducing Mason!”
“How is that possible?” Skyler naturally didn’t believe it, “How could Mason be interested in her? She’s your sister–in–law!”
“It’s true!” Kaylee showed her phone to Skyler, “Look! Adriana saw them coming out of a hotel room together!”
