Luna Reborn by Juliet Swanson Chapter 28

Chapter 28
It’s already sixty minutes later, but Bash still didn’t show up.
I had accomplished not anything except sitting and waiting outside the entrance. Has my existence truly led people to quickly forget me?
I became impatient and took my backpack before leaving the gym, since I didn’t intend to sit around any longer. I assumed that once he arrived, he would feel horrible after seeing I had gone.
However, I believed I heard Bash’s voice while I passed around the hallways. Had he actually remained there all along and not considered rescheduling politely?
I was so enraged that I possessed a quick surge of adrenaline. It was fine to be fifteen minutes late, but a sixty minute delay was horrible. Moreover, Bash didn’t alert me while he only existed a short distance away? I was furious.
I barged into the room and popped wide the entryway.
“Bash, you complete scumbag. What were you thinking…?”
Yet I couldn’t complete my grumble.
I was absolutely caught at surprise with the bare–chested Bash, who obviously still had a good time with female seniors, so I was unable to continue the grumble.
“Winona?”
Bash and the girl, that naked underneath him, were both startled

when they witnessed me.
I hurriedly turned away from them, because the picture of him lying on a classroom table with the woman’s thighs within his made me disgusted.
“How could you find me here?” Bash shouted. He was putting on his top and fastening his bottoms straight up, which was clear to my ears.
“How could I find you?” I said angrily again. “You are confused after making me sit for nearly more than sixty minutes?”
I figured that it was fine to turn my head back at that time.
“Oh my god, is it today?”
“I see, truly. You are unaware, despite that I just informed you a short while ago?”
While gazing at the floor, he stroked the lower part of his neck. He appeared somewhat at fault, perhaps. Yet it made no difference since I was enraged. He wouldn’t be able to settle me out of anger, whatever he said. I appeared as if I had given up myself because a thing within me was getting ignited.
“It’s truly my fault.”
“You apologized? You aren’t capable of notifying me that you intend to postpone it since you have been so busy making love with this girl, right?”
The moment he glanced at me, I sensed the identical well–known sensation of desperately wanting to sag beneath the pressure of those gaze. Not at the moment however. I got so furious that day that I wouldn’t give in.

“Haha,” the girl shouted out. “Fine, let me go first. I am not required to be involved with your nerd… Goddess mark things.”
I might have torn out her head right away if I still remained my wolf. Maybe it was her lucky day since I remained a minor.
“Kira,” Bash yelled, causing it to be apparent how he was not pleased with the thing she stated. “If you honestly are unwilling to get engaged, I believe it’s crucial to simply quit.”
“Okay. Take pleasure in your kid’s after–class recreation,” she shouted. After she adjusted her trousers and eventually proceeded to approach the entryway, I examined her from head to toe.
I was relieved to witness her leave quickly, although the rush of emotion came over once more.
Once she passed me, the girl said, “Nerd.”
I quickly lifted my arm and was about to grasp her when Bash grabbed me. I agreed to simply glare angrily toward her while she walked away.
“Winona, just relax yourself.”
“Do you regard me that way too?” I couldn’t help questioning.
I glanced back to confront him, as tears of irate emotions began to well up. With an effort to prevent them from dropping, I clenched my jaws, yet it was ineffective.
“Regard you?” Bash seemed couldn’t understand my question.
“Like what that girl said, a kid, a nerd, just a dumb one.”
He released my hand in shock. “What do you mean? I never regard you as that.”

“However, you chose to remain here while on her top, didn’t you? I suppose it since you don’t find me as entertaining as her. Since you believe that I am only a kid.”
He murmured and moved awkwardly. “You’ll know once you grow up.”
I started laughing. Was that everything he had to respond with? I was actually eight years older than Bash; so, how could I not get what he was exactly doing?
I moved rapidly, approaching him with complete certainty. He responded by pacing back with each move I made, startled by my rapid closeness.
Yet I persisted until Bash was eventually pinned into the wall. I gave him a dead earnest look.
“Bash, do you really think that I am unaware of this thing?”
He continued making attempts to lean up toward the wall, though it was ineffective. Presently, the sole factor separating us was only a few inches because of the size difference. Until he inevitably got the identical decision that attempting to get away was useless, Bash peered downward at me, his gaze scouring mine as though seeking a certain thing.
While he repeatedly moved his lips, seemed like wanting to figure out the correct phrases to speak but failing, I anxiously watched for his response.
In the end, I ran out of tolerance.
I exhaled furiously and decided to go, moving to the exit.
“Which of us is the kid, Bash? Please do the introspection.”

“Winona, stay,” he shouted toward me. “I’m going to seek amends for it. We will finish some further training, plus I’ll additionally demonstrate to you a unique combat method just used at my pack.”
I chose to respond by didn’t gaze at him, ignored everything and continued going. “Bash, you don’t need to do that. If you are unable to consider me carefully, I’ll prefer not to waste every moment with you.”
“Okay, you’ll still obtain what you want,” he yelled. “I won’t be around forever.”
I came to a stop and turned to face him at last.
“What are you trying to say?”
“I imply that in about seven days, I will go back to my pack. So, I’ll have to leave shortly.”
My anger was suddenly reactivated, as any sense of serenity, I had been able to maintain only seconds earlier, was completely destroyed. I was not certain which irritated me more; the truth that he had abandoned me for more than sixty minutes, or the truth that he never mentioned it until that moment if he would leave shortly.
“Do you really intend to tell me now, that you merely plan to return to your own pack next week and didn’t want to inform me before?”
“It’s not like that! I intend to inform you sooner or later.”
“Later? Through a piece of writing paper after you have left earlier? Bash, I assume we are that close. But it turns out that I’m the only one who assumes that.”

I rushed back in his direction, swiftly regaining the distance I had earlier put among us.
“Bash, do you desire to set things right with me?” I made an argument. “Okay.”
I punched him in the cheek, but he easily sidestepped the hit by turning his face to the right.
“Whoa, Winona, why did you punch me?”
He moved backward to provide some space, yet I refused to permit him to escape. I attempted to strike the other side using my foot as I threw it toward him, yet he immediately deflected it by extending his hand.
“This is what you want, right? You expect everything to be resolved with only a quick reschedule practicing. Fine, strike me, Bash!”
I sent my body weight to my opposite leg while making an attempt to strike him off guard with another foot. He nearly missed the motion since it happened so quickly, though just in time, he reached out and grasped my ankle.
“Please, don’t be like this,” he snarled.
His requests only made me want to perform more things.
Since Bash was still holding around my ankle, I seized the chance to grip the table beside me in order to stabilize my body. I pushed myself, then struck him straight in the upper body, which caused him to let go of my foot as I fell back a few meters.
I tried to provoke him by saying, “Smack me, Bash,” while once more filling the void I had just created.

“Never.”
To my amazement, he made no attempt to protect himself as I tried to strike his face. I was speechless as my strike impacted precisely on the right side of his cheek
“Why don’t you avoid it, exactly?” In utter disbelief, I questioned.
He didn’t respond, though.
I immediately attempted to smash him once more, this time with an overhead punch to the middle of his belly, uncertain of anything else I should do. He gasped and fell back, because he didn’t make an attempt to protect himself.
I raced toward him and repeatedly punched him as I yelled in rage. Though, Bash never lifted an arm to protect himself.
“Punch me, Bash!”
“Never!” he shouted back at last. “We are not in the arena and are not training. You shouldn’t be wounded by me.”
While I kept hitting him, my strikes upon him weakened, as the force of his remarks gradually began dragging me out.
“Just… do what I say, Bash.” I forced a deep breath because I noticed my crying start to well up again.
He remained silent and permitted me to keep approaching him.
Eventually admitting that he wouldn’t respond, I gave up and dropped on the ground beside him. It took just a couple of additional blows for me to calm down, since the water from my eyes had already come out.
“Are you finished?” Bash questioned after he waited a while.

I was unable to continue. I couldn’t tolerate having the same sense of insignificance anymore. Was it really unrealistic to have a desire that I could be prioritized once in a while? That I was that
unimportant to them?
Since I understood it to be the underlying source of my rage, that was not due to the girl or that Bash didn’t arrive early; rather, I felt the way Bash was concerned for me as a friend. Then I was aware. that he had no reason for this. He was an extremely charming and outgoing man who made friends easily. Fact be told, he most likely had a lot of friends, ready to greet him at his pack. Then I had been so foolish as to think that perhaps my existence was just as significant to him like that.
Perhaps, that was what I wanted.
“Leave me,” I said in a low tone.
“Could you repeat it for me?” Bask asked and appeared to be doubtful of his understanding.
“I ordered you to leave!” I shouted, raising my chin to look at him. “Go away immediately! Enjoy a wonderful time and return to your land!”
He did not delay just a single instant more, turning back and walking through the entrance.
