Luna Reborn by Juliet Swanson Chapter 24

Chapter 24
“Bash?” I inquired while feeling restless.
“Silly girl,” he shouted, rushed toward my side to save me. “When you continue to do that, you’ll harm your body.”
He assisted me in getting to the closest seat, set me through, then squatted directly beside me.
“Why are you here?” I inquired.
“I come after you. You and I don’t frequently pass each other. However, I notice you heading toward this building. You also don’t seem well.”
Didn’t seem well? Since I had put in a lot of training, I was growing tougher. Shouldn’t I appear to be in better shape?
“You shouldn’t ignore me for over thirty days as well as want me to neglect the way you’re harming yourself. You looked extremely thin and pale. Actually, I’m not shocked if you missed our meeting since you appeared to be close to tumbling unconscious in the hallway. It appeared that, sticking with you is a wise decision. You must quit doing this.”
“Don’t ask me to quit training. I’m going to be tougher,” I weakly pleaded.
“By exerting this much effort? If you continue like this, your physical health will suffer severe and even irreparable harm.”
I noticed that he had become frustrated when I glanced toward him. He was upset with me because I did a terrible thing to myself.

Simply one more thing of ‘I feel sorry for you‘ kindness.
However, Bash’s claim that I was performing incorrect could be accurate. We knew that Alpha heirs received training as soon as they were able to walk, an Alpha like him could be the only person who was totally aware of everything about training. So, had I truly started to torture myself so severely?
He gave me a bottle of water, then I sipped while giving myself some time to relax and clearing my blurry eyes.
“I simply… I have no idea what I’m doing….” I found myself couldn’t give him a straight gaze, so I accepted my failure. “I am unable to tell my dad, and also have no one else to ask.”
“Nobody else?” Bash replied, appearing a bit irritated. “If you didn’t ignore me for a long time, you can beg me to lend a hand, you dumb girl.”
Letting Bash help me? I had not even considered it before. However, he would be too busy with his own life and didn’t have much time to coach me.
“Winona,” he angrily declared, so I glanced toward him. “Why do you stay away from me? Have I done stuff that annoyed you?”
“You haven’t,” I responded right away. “You never annoyed me, however… I believe you are simply kind, as you feel sorry for me over the Benjamin thing.”
“Then why did…?”
“Considering that you wished to make our separate ways before that. It’s also the discussion we have after the meeting with the Alpha. I only believe you are shy to express your desire to avoid interacting with me.”

“Winona!” Bash was scrubbing his forehead using his palm. “I apologize. I felt briefly enraged and uttered some stupid things that day. I don’t intend it actually.”
He didn’t intend it? That indicated I had been wasting the day fretting within nonsense.
“Alright then,” I responded. “Please forgive me for ignoring you, I guess.” Since I had been behaving in accordance for more than thirty days, with the thing I believed he desired, I was not certain how to react to this revelation.
He was giggling before getting up.
“Fine. We must get started over, because I will be your instructor starting today. Anything needs to be set and make into a fresh approach.” He extended his arm so I could embrace it.
“Hi, Winona Granger, the Beta’s daughter of Lock Heart Pack, I am Sebastian Williams, the Alpha heir of Black Alder Pack. I’m glad to have met you.”
My whole being began to helpless as I gazed at his extended arm. I found it impossible to accept what he had just said. It was impossible to be true.
Sebastian. He is Sebastian! The Demon in the silver jail.
“…Sebastian Williams?” I noticed my own hoarse tone when asking. It had been quite a while since I encountered this identity.
I had made a lot of effort to let things go.
“Are you alright? All of a sudden you appear truly sick. Still felt unwell?”
His voice was inaudible to me. I was being overtaken by feelings.

Disgrace, sorrow, and astonishment.
Sebastian Williams, future Alpha of the Black Alder pack, had become the demon once he had been arrested by Benjamin.
It was debatably one of the craziest political moves Benjamin had ever done during his Alpha reign.
Sebastian Williams became Alpha after his father’s death, and his wolf was very powerful and famous. His pack continued to evolve until it was as powerful as Lock Heart at the time. During an Alpha meeting, he came to the Lock Heart pack seeking for cooperation, and he never came home… and has lived in Lock Heart’s prison ever since.
I still don’t understand why Benjamin did that, he didn’t have a good reason to do it, but he did.
The only possible reasoning for his actions, that I ever managed to come up with, was that it had only been a few months since Benjamin had become Alpha. He was wild with his newfound power and even the Elders were struggling to reign him in at that time. He seemed to be on a warpath and was determined to become the strongest pack in the country, refusing to listen to anyone who tried to stop him.
So, Ben killed many alphas of our rival pack, and claimed that Sebastian did it, which is why he got the name Demon. Then Benjamin led the Alphas of the weak packs who didn’t know the truth to besiege Sebastian.
The conflict raged for several months with neither side obtaining the advantage. The spirits of individuals were dwindling and it looked that both packs were roughly equal. Whether one of them was going to win, it appeared like both of them were going to pass out due to tiredness.

That was the time where I stepped in.
During that time, we had been together for more than twelve months, so I had fallen head over heels for him. To Ben, I would have accomplished everything. Throughout an approach session, they were sensing that they had reached the breaking point, so one of the Elders approached me to ask for my insight into the situation. Every moment that I spent within the area, Benjamin kept glaring at me in such fierce eyes. I believed that the reason was simply because he didn’t believe I was sufficiently skilled to be a Luna.
So I showed them.

I provided troops with a step–by–step manner, in which they might precisely end the conflict using the fewest number of losses.
They won the battle. Sebastian was arrested and taken into custody and locked in the silver jail. I was not sure what transpired after I passed away, but I believed he also passed away there.
Once Benjamin claimed that he had personally detained Sebastian, I chose not to intervene and keep all my contributions a secret. I recently observed how he was seen as an outstanding individual among different Alphas who were unaware of the facts.
With a belief that Benjamin could develop an affection for me, I began to follow him around.
Since then, both of us had consistently prevailed in conflict. Benjamin was feeling good about the authority we achieved, whereas I was feeling good about the minor favors he was giving me. I continued to assure myself that perhaps if we survived another war, possibly, only possibly, he would look at me or if I got fortunate, tenderly grasp his arm. When the war continued, I convinced myself by repeating the phrases in my brain, as though

they had become an affirmation to explain why I should continue.
Once we discovered absolutely no longer any defiance that could be considered a danger, we remained above everyone a few years afterwards. Using our combination skills, Benjamin’s unrivaled power and my incredible strategies, we became unbeatable.
After yet another war, I stood by his side and hoped he would treat me the way he treated Luna. On the contrary, he celebrated the win with Isabella by taking her within his embrace.
Following that, everything rapidly started crumbling apart. I realized I was being duped throughout our relationship. I remember being stupid and immature. Superb in terms of strategy and warfare, but bad in terms of the relationship with Benjamin and other friends. Following that, the sin that accompanied, what I had done earlier, struck me hard.
I needed an entire year to erase the identities of the victims from my head. I actually only knew the amount of people that lost their lives, I was unable to get the identities of the civilians who were innocently captured during the conflict. I had no opportunity to see the eyes of those individuals who had appeared in the nightmare every night, which might have been a gift or an indignity. I wasn’t forced to go to the war area, instead, I was only doing some chores in the packhouse. So, I didn’t witness the actual harm I have already created.
That was a recollection, I had tried to bury for a while in attempts to cover away the deeds of stupidity, that I had done. Sebastian was the first of many terrible blunders. He told me in the jail in my previous life that he was very grateful to my accompany, but he didn’t know that I was the culprit.
Now, he was sent by the destiny to be a trusted ally, he even

became a partner who felt sympathy for me.
Why would he be able to treat me with such kindness? I was sure that it was a divine punishment due to my earlier naive trust.
“Winona?” he said in panic.
I glanced toward him, when the man’s voice brought me into reality. I was forced to turn my gaze aside immediately, as I saw his flawless shining pupils. I was unable to confront him for what I have performed. He had merely came to Lock Heart to seek peace and cooperation, but I brought him to the dead end.
“I apologize for everything,” I said.
“Why so suddenly you say that?” he bafflingly inquired. “Is it for being unwell? There’s no requirement for you to apologize for it.”
I stepped back as he drew near and reached over to tap my shoulder.
“Winona? Please tell me. Do you think you’re going to faint or anything?”
“I… just, I don’t.”
“Well,” he sighed and walked over to me. “I’ll bring you right away to the clinic.”
“Wait! Stay away from me.” I tried to walk by myself, even if it was too slowly. He attempted to help me up by grabbing me.
Suddenly, that thing occurred.
My eyesight abruptly became blurry, similar to what had occurred before, then I was carried along. I had left the gym.
