My Rich Hot and Infertile (Or Maybe Not) Husband Chapter 669

Chapter 669
Liam’s lips quivered slightly, and his eyes filled with bloodshot lines
Celeste was like fine sand, no matter how tightly he clung to her, she would always slip through his fingers.
Since his father passed away, this was the first time he felt so powerless, his heart was filled with fear and uncertainty.
He rasped, “Didn’t you ask Granny? She said she didn’t mind.”
Celeste shook her head, “That was just me testing her. She probably didn’t take it seriously. How could a family like yours ever accept you not having a kid? The others would look at you differently too.”
Liam gazed at her for a long time, then quietly said, “You always talk about what Granny thinks and how others see it. But what about you? What do you think? You’re right, I care about Granny’s opinion, but it’s you I’m going to spend my life with. Your answer is what matters most
Kids are not that important. If you want your own, we can see a doctor, if you don’t want any, we can adopt, if you want revenge, go for it.
What I want to know is, what do you really want? Do you still want to be with me?”
Owen was outside their car, listening to their conversation.
Mr. Reed was making progress, at least he had his priorities straight.
Kids, vanity none of that was as important as his wife.
With what Liam just said, Celeste would surely be moved.
He had many flaws. He wasn’t considerate enough or gentle enough. He spoke harshly, and even when he did good things, he always managed to mess it up with his poor choice of words
But he had his merits too. Like when Kaylee bullied her, he would secretly help her get back at Kaylee. He himself had a bit of a sharp tongue, but if others talked down to her, he would definitely seek revenge. He would bail her out when she bragged too much. He would buy that ugly necklace just because she mentioned it casually. And he was damn good–looking and totally her type
She wasn’t perfect either. Sometimes, she was even harsher than Liam. She could hold grudges. When she was in a good mood, she would try to appease him. But when she was not, if Liam came home late at night, she would lock him out of the bedroom.
Even when Liam was angry, the next day she could cut him a plate of strawberries, and he would instantly become docile and only grumble a bit about. how hard the bed in the study was
She was petty and held grudges, always remembering all the bad things Liam did to her. She always thought that Liam was only with her because he couldn’t marry his first love. He couldn’t possibly love her.
It wasn’t until now that she finally understood what Caitlyn once said.
In a marriage, one can’t always focus on the other’s faults. One should also see their merits. Because no one in this world is perfect. When you demand perfection from others, you should also reflect on whether you’ve reached that “perfect” standard yourself.
