My Rich Hot and Infertile (Or Maybe Not) Husband Chapter 159

Chapter 159
He didn’t come here on purpose, so he didn’t dress up specially.
The girl nodded and said, “Oh, it’s your first time here?”
Liam didn’t say anything.
The girl gently smiled, put the rose in Liam’s chest pocket, and hooked her lips, “Let me show you around, then.”
Celeste looked at the rose, stunned for a few seconds. Just as Liam looked over, she quickly lowered her head, pretending to check her phone.
Liam’s gaze seemed to linger on her for a few seconds, and then Celeste heard him say, “You’re very familiar with this place?”
The girl said, “I’m a regular here. There’s a dance floor over there and a game room. I’ll show you.”
Liam was silent for a few seconds and said, “Thanks.”
Celeste’s heart suddenly tightened.
By the time she looked up, Liam had already disappeared into the crowd with the girl.
The girl was very pretty, her features somewhat similar to Sydney, so she was Liam’s type.
He had no reason to refuse.
Celeste suddenly felt a little sad.
She and Liam were bound to divorce sooner or later, and he was bound to be with other women sooner or later. Hadn’t she been prepared for this?
Why was she so uncomfortable seeing him not refusing other women?
The so-called letting go and being free was all just talk. Only she knew how hard it was to let go of her feelings.
Nicolas seemed to be having a great time with the girl next to him, so Celeste figured he didn’t need her help.
She lowered her head and used a straw to pick at the uncleaned seeds on the lemon slice, but her mind was on Liam,
One moment she was wondering what he was doing with the girl, the next she was thinking: Liam likes Sydney, right? He shouldn’t do anything with the girl
But Liam liked Sydney, and he still married her and slept with her, right?
Men and women were different; men can completely separate sex and love. Even if he liked Sydney, it didn’t prevent him from sleeping with other
women
As she was lost in thought, her phone suddenly rang.
Seeing it was an unknown number, Celeste hung up.
Just as she hung up, the other party called again.
Celeste had no choice but to take her phone outside to answer it.
“Hello?”
“It’s me”
Celeste hesitated for a moment, “Mr. Miller?”
“Yeah,” Zach didn’t bother with small talk and went straight to the point, “Are you free tomorrow morning? Come and audition for a role.”
The suddenness of it all left Celeste’s mind blank for a moment, and she blurted out, “Didn’t you already sign another actor?”
“It’s a different role. Are you coming?”
“Coming!” Afraid he would refuse, Celeste agreed very quickly
“The role does not have many scenes, and the pay is low, probably less than what you’d make dubbing a show. Are you sure?” Celeste hesitated for a moment, and Zach frowned, thinking she would refuse But then he heard her say, ‘Is catering provided?”
Zach said, “You’re on your own for breakfast, but lunch and dinner are provided. If there’s any night shooting, we’ll throw in some late-night snacks too” “Then there’s no problem at all. She didn’t have an assistant, so if meals weren’t provided, it might be a bit of a hassle for her to sort it out on set. “Come for a rehearsal tomorrow, then. I’ll send you the time and address in a bit. This is my number, please save it.”
After hanging up, Celeste felt a bit incredulous.
Back at the bar, Liam still hadn’t returned, and Nicolas was nowhere to be seen. When the waiter came to take away the glasses, she downed the remaining half glass of water and then called Nicolas.
But Nicolas’ phone was switched off!
Maybe it was because the bar was too noisy, but she felt a bit dizzy, with blood rushing to her head and her cheeks getting hot. The scene in front of her started to sway
She quickly sensed that something was off, so she got up and headed out with her phone, dialing Liam’s number as she went.
