My Rich Hot and Infertile (Or Maybe Not) Husband Chapter 575

Chapter 575
Where the hell was Trisha? How long does it take to move a car?
Celeste picked up her phone to call Trisha, and it quickly connected.
“Trisha, what’s taking so long?”
Nicolas’s voice came from the other end: “Trisha’s with me.”
Celeste frowned. “She’s with you?”
“Dr. Ledford asked her out. She’s shy; she needed me to tag along.”
Celeste was even more confused. Since when was Trisha this close to Nicolas?
Trisha wouldn’t go on a date in her pajamas, would she?
“Give the phone to Trisha; I need to talk to her.”
“Alright,” Nicolas replied. Half a minute later, Trisha’s voice came through the phone: “Letti, I’ll be back late tonight.”
Celeste was surprised: “You’re actually going out with Dr. Ledford.”
Trisha mumbled an affirmative and whispered, “Don’t worry, I’ll be back after I’ve had my fun.”
“Alright then, come back early.”
“Okay.”
After hanging up, Trisha covered her chest with her clothes, gritted her teeth, and said, “That’s enough! Get out of the dressing room!” Nicolas/chuckled and pinched her face. “Pick any clothes you like. I will send you a few more sets. Guaranteed to help you win over your crush.”
Trisha wished she could rush over and bite this bastard’s face off!
Just as Celeste hung up, she smelled something burning.
She walked over to see that a section of the shirt had turned yellow.
Her eye twitched as she turned off the gas and snatched the shirt from him.
Not long after, Liam saw Celeste bring out a small heater, hang the shirt up on the balcony, and use the heater to dry it.
After finishing, Celeste picked up her script, sat cross–legged on a single sofa, and began reading.
Liam sat next to her and asked, “Are you still coming to Grandma’s birthday?”
Celeste flipped a page and asked, “Why wouldn’t I?”
She knew why he was asking. News of her illegitimate daughter status had spread. The banquet the day after tomorrow would be packed, and there would be plenty of gossip.
If she was afraid of this, she wouldn’t be Celeste.
“I’m here to celebrate Grandma’s birthday, not worry about others‘ opinions. If Grandma doesn’t say I shouldn’t be there, I definitely won’t be absent.”
She was not guilty of anything; her absence would only prove her guilt.
Plus, she hadn’t gotten her revenge yet; why wouldn’t she go?
Liam looked a bit better and said, “Then I’ll pick you up the day after tomorrow.”
At first, Celeste wanted to refuse, but then thought better of it. Letting Skyler see how her precious son was getting close to her–wouldn’t that just piss her off?
So she glanced at Liam and said, “Is it convenient for you? If not, I can take a taxi or hitch a ride with Mr. Fletcher.”
Driving in formal attire could be inconvenient.
Upon hearing her mention Mason, Liam quickly said, “Very convenient!
Celeste raised an eyebrow and said, “Then I’ll have to trouble Mr. Reed.”
Finally, things cooled down a bit. Celeste was reading her script, and Liam was watching her.
He hadn’t really looked at her like this for a long time since their divorce.
Celeste had lost some weight since the divorce.
Liam figured she must have slimmed down because of Caitlyn’s death, not the divorce.

She even seemed better off without him.
*About your lawsuit with Shawn, I’ll find you a new lawyer. Blood–related or not, you have every right to inherit your mom’s estate.”
