“You said on the phone that you had something important to tell me. What is it?”
“It’s about your bag. You asked me to put it online, and there have been quite a few inquiries.”
Celeste was surprised, “That many people? Where are these rich people from?”
“No way! They’re just a bunch of onlookers. After all, no one has ever put this bag up for sale before. But there are a few small internet celebrities in the circle who want to rent your bag for photoshoots.”
Celeste waved her hand. “Only for sale, not for rent”
“I told them that. I screened them all and found one person who was genuinely interested in buying it. They’ve been messaging me for three days, asking for lots of detailed pictures, and finally, they asked if they could meet in person to inspect the item and negotiate the price. I agreed on your behalf.”
“Do you know anything about their background?”
Trisha thought for a moment and said. “They don’t seem to be from your circle of ladies. They asked to meet at a second-hand luxury store, which is a place frequented by lesser-known celebrities and some fake socialites.”
Celeste nodded, “Ill go check it out tomorrow then.”
“Lastly, the most important thing today,” Trisha hooked her arm around Celeste’s shoulder, “Director Zach Miller’s new drama, Phoenix Fire, is recruiting actors! Although the main roles have been decided, you know that Zach values acting skills a lot. Even if you’re just a supporting role, as long as you can act, you can still become popular. They’re arranging auditions this Friday, and I’ve already used my connections to get your information in.”
Celeste was shocked, “I don’t have any works to my name. How did you manage to get my information in?”
“I have some connections in this industry! For the agent column, I temporarily put my name, and we can change it later when you sign with a company,” Trisha paused, “Do you want to go?”
‘Of course! You’ve already gotten me this opportunity, how could I not go?”
Trisha cleared her throat, “But there are two things I need to make clear to you. First, the role being recruited is a fourth female lead, so the amount of screen time might not be much. Second, the female lead of this drama is Sydney”
Celeste didn’t say anything.
Trisha carefully observed Celeste’s expression, “If you feel uncomfortable, we don’t have to go to the audition. There opportunities. I can find something else for you.”
Celeste only hesitated for two seconds before making a decision, “I want to go.”
“Are you sure?” It wouldn’t be comfortable for anyone to be overshadowed by their real-life rival in a drama, “You don yourself…”
Celeste smiled, “If I can’t even handle this, I might as well go back to being Liam’s caged pet. The road ahead will be harder than this.”
The next day, Celeste went to the second hand luxury store with her bag, as agreed with the buyer.
The store owner led her to a private room on the second floor after she explained her purpose
The room was filled with the scent of incense, which smelled like pine, faint and refreshing.

As they were talking, a bell rang downstairs, and the owner excused himself to attend to it.
Shortly after, the door to the private room was pushed open, and a woman wearing sunglasses and wrapped up tightly entered. strong scent of her perfume filled the room, almost overpowering the refreshing scent.
“Are you the one who sells bags?”
