My Rich Hot and Infertile (Or Maybe Not) Husband Chapter 326

Chapter 326
Chapter 326
Seeing Liam’s face getting worse, Skyler quickly scolded, “Shut up!”
Then, addressing Liam, she spoke, “Liam, I’ve already heard about what happened. Kaylee truly crossed a line this time. On our way back, I called our relative, and they informed me that the hospital had already notified them about it being an epilepsy episode and that he’s fine now. It was an unintentional accident. Kaylee didn’t do it deliberately. She was frightened as well.”
Hearing it was just epilepsy, Kaylee immediately became aggressive, “I told you he was just trying to scam me! I didn’t even push him that hard. If he didn’t grab me, I wouldn’t have pushed him either. The epilepsy just happened to kick in. What bad luck! Good thing he didn’t die, or I could never explain it.”
Liam’s face darkened even more, “Kaylee, you think nobody heard what you said to Old Mr. Campbell?”
Her voice quivered and shaky, Kaylee stubbornly said, “What did I say? I was just delivering medicine to Celeste. He wouldn’t let me in, that’s why I pushed him.”
Liam and Celeste were both out at the time, and the nanny only came out after the incident. As long as Kaylee didn’t admit it, everything was fine. Seeing that she showed no remorse, Liam signaled Owen to play the video surveillance from his phone and turned up the volume.
“What do you mean we’re family?… Are all of the Campbell family so shameless?
“Isn’t living in a mansion much better than the countryside?”
“Good thing she can’t get pregnant. If she did, it would be disgusting if the child turned out to be like the Campbells.”
With each sentence, Kaylee’s face grew paler.
She didn’t expect every word she said to be clearly recorded on the surveillance.
Liam coldly stared at her, “Now you have two choices. Either you go to the hospital with me and apologize, or I’ll hand this over to the police. Assault charges at the very least will get you locked up for a year or so. If your family can’t control you, let someone else!”
Kaylee’s face turned pale, her lips trembling. “Brother, you’d turn me in for a stranger?”
“A stranger?” Liam was furious. “Kaylee, do you have any conscience or bottom–line as a human being in your heart besides family and outsiders? You can actually insult and assault a nearly ninety–year–old man! And now that you’re in trouble, you hide at home to avoid responsibility! Who taught you this? Is this what your education and family values taught you?”
Through gritted teeth, Kaylee replied, “Even if you say that, it’s all because of that woman, Celeste! She’s all you care about! If you hadn’t married Celeste, would our family still suffer in the company? Now because of her, you don’t even care about your own sister! Fine, take me to the police station. You’ve been unhappy with me since my father’s affairs anyway, I might as well be dead!”
Unrepentant, Liam’s anger reached its peak. He ordered, “Owen, call the p
