My Rich Hot and Infertile (Or Maybe Not) Husband Chapter 124

Chapter 124
Celeste nodded, “It’s the smartest horse here. Once. I was talking about another horse looked better than her in front of her, and she deliberately sprayed me with water when she was drinking. If she couldn’t understand, how could she do such a thing? Even humans don’t hold grudges like that!”
Sugar seemed to understand that Celeste was talking about her, so she stomped her hoof in dissatisfaction.
Celeste quickly changed her tone to appease it, “Good girl, I was praising you for being beautiful.”
Sugar turned to look at her, her gaze piercing.
There was a scar about two inches above and crossed her left eye, which was dull compared to the shiny black right eye.
But it was this scar that added a sense of dignity to Sugar. At first glance, it looked like a brave and skilled warrior on the battlefield, attracting people’s
attention.
Celeste was startled by Sugar’s sudden turn, and Sugar took the opportunity to snatch the apple from her hand, then turned its butt towards her again. Celeste was taken aback, and Mason laughed, “It seems to like you quite a bit.”
Steven stood not far away and asked Liam, “Can such a stubborn horse be tamed?”
Liam glanced at Celeste, who was talking to Sugar, and said nonchalantly. “It depends on who’s doing the taming.”
“Can a horse with only one eye be tamed?” Celeste asked.
“We can give it a try” Liam said.
Steven seemed eager to try, “How about a race? Two laps?”
Liam replied. “Pick a horse.”
Steven was good at horse riding. He had even participated in amateur equestrian competitions when he was younger and had won some awards.
He quickly chose a chestnut-colored horse, the only one in the stable that had won a championship.
Steven called Mason over, “Mason, want to race two laps?”
Mason waved his hands, “Nah, you two go ahead”
The horse whisperer led Sugar out, and she stretched her body, her fur shining brightly in the sunlight.
Liam took off his tie and threw it, along with his jacket, to Celeste.
“Who do you think will win?” As he passed by. Liam asked her a question..
Celeste hummed softly. “Even if you win, it’s only because Sugar is amazing!”
Liam didn’t say anything else. He jumped onto the horse, gave a tug on the reins, and Sugar trotted onto the racetrack.
Steven said, “Since it’s a race, there should be a reward, right?”
“What kind of reward do you want?” Liam asked.
Steven laughed, “The loser has to call the winner big brother. How about that?”
Celeste was puzzled.
What kind of reward was that?
Mason explained on the side, “Their birthdays are only five days apart, in the same month, but Liam just refuses to call him brother. Can’t believe after all these years, he still can’t let it go.”
Celeste said, “This kind of childish thing is totally something guys would do.”
Mason looked at her, surprised.
