My Rich Hot and Infertile (Or Maybe Not) Husband Chapter 115

Chapter 115
After buying the gifts, Liam went to the restroom and Mr. Robinson helped load the items into the car.
Celeste was initially planning to take the opportunity to check her phone, but as she passed by a jewelry store, she was drawn to a poster displayed on the window. The bracelet worn by the female model on the poster looked stunning.
“Ma’am, if you like it, you can come in and try it on. We have many beautiful designs,” a salesperson at the entrance greeted her enthusiastically.
Celeste glanced in the direction of the restroom and saw that Liam hadn’t come out yet, so she walked into the store.
It was early in the morning and the store seemed to have just opened. Some of the salespeople were still busily changing the displays at their counters, but customers were beginning to trickle in.
Celeste went straight to the jade section to look at the bracelets.
A salesperson quickly approached and asked, “Miss, are you looking for a bracelet for yourself or as a gift for a friend?”
Celeste was examining the displayed items in the counter and casually responded, “I’m just casually browsing for now.”
“Take your time, and if you need any assistance, just let me know,” the salesperson said.
After looking around and not finding the item from the poster, Celeste asked, “Which one is the model wearing in the poster?”
“Miss, you have a great taste. That one is a new arrival in our store. We didn’t place it in the display counter because of its high quality and to avoid any damage,” the salesperson explained.
“Can I take a look at it? Celeste asked.
“Yes, please wait a moment while I speak with the manager.” The salesperson said.
In a short while, the salesperson returned cautiously carrying a box. Upon opening the box, a jade bracelet lay on velvet, lustrous and transparent with an even, rich green color.
The salesperson put on gloves and held the bracelet up to the light for Celeste to see. The texture was extremely delicate, without any impurities or cracks, and the color appeared natural, not like it was artificially enhanced.
However, as Celeste was not an expert, this was about all she could discern.
“May I try it on?” Celeste asked.
“Of course, let me help you with that.” The salesperson said.
Just as Celeste was trying on the bracelet, Angel entered the store and saw her. She frowned, wondering what Celeste was doing there.
A girl beside Angel noticed her standing still and turned to ask her, “What’s wrong?”
Angel lowered her voice and said, “Adriana, can we go to another store?”
The girl frowned in displeasure and said, “Didn’t you say you wanted to come here?”
Angel whispered, “My sister is here, and she doesn’t like me very much. I’d rather not appear in front of her”
Adriana then noticed Celeste not far away.
“I thought it was someone important. It’s just Celeste! Come on, I’ll help you teach her a lesson, Adriana said, dragging Angel towards Celeste.
The bracelet looked stunning, casting beautiful reflections on Celeste’s wrist under the lights.
“The color matches your skin perfectly the salesperson complimented.
Celeste smiled but didn’t respond.
Salespeople would say anything to make a sale. The bracelet was indeed beautiful, but it didn’t suit her very well. The size was slightly large for her, and the highly saturated color wasn’t quite appropriate for her age.
“Why isn’t anyone attending to the customers? Is this the kind of service you provide here?” A overly confident female voice came from the side.
The saleswoman standing next to Celeste immediately went over and greeted, “Miss, I’m terribly sorry, how can I assist you?”
The woman glanced at the merchandise in the display case and arrogantly said, ‘Is this the quality of the bracelets in your store? It’s really below
standard”
