Exchange My Life for Your Heart by Karrin Chapter 33

Chapter 33 Conflict
After the breakfast was laid out on the table, Cecilia was truly taken aback. Despite marrying Theo for years, she had never seen him step into the kitchen, let alone cook at meal for her. At that time she seriously doubted if Theo even knew where the kitchen was located
She cautiously took a bite and found the bacon perfectly fried, with the eggs in an adorable heart shape. After calmly finishing her breakfast, she couldn’t bear Theo’s intense
gaze.
“Why are you staring at me like that? Have your breakfast!”
“I’ve already eaten. We haven’t seen each other for so long, and I wanted to do nothing
but stare at you.”
Cecilia awkwardly lowered her head. It seemed that after over a year, Theodore had even become more skilled in the art of sweet–talking.
After breakfast, Theodore voluntarily offered to wash the dishes. Cecilia couldn’t refuse.
Then she found herself enjoying this moment of leisure. She sat on the sofa for a while,
assuming that he would leave once he finished, but to her surprise, he picked up her shopping bag instead.
“Let’s go. I noticed there isn’t much left in the fridge. We should go grocery shopping and get some things!”
Before Cecilia could refuse, Theo had grabbed the car keys and started the car. Seeing him waiting in the car, Cecilia had to accept his suggestion, and got in the car with little
Jace.
During their supermarket trip, Cecilia couldn’t help but feel how easily it could be
misunderstood by others. She held Jace while Theo took charge of buying groceries and other daily necessities. It was an undeniably heartwarming scene.
“Look at them, what a warm family of three!”
“Yes, Lilie, you’re not married yet. Look at them, don’t you have any thoughts of getting
married?”
Cecilia couldn’t help but feel a bit awkward. Theo clearly heard their comments, but he always wore a smile, seemingly pleased.
On their way back, they unexpectedly ran into Luke. Luke was unaware of Theo’s
previous visit to Cecilia, so when he saw Theo, anger flared up within him.
“What are you doing here? A year ago, you pushed Ceci to the point of committing suicide, and now you still want to torment her?” Luke walked up and immediately pos

himself in front of Cecilia and the child, protecting them.
Theo had initially intended to remain calm and turned a deaf ear to Luke’s tough words.
However, Luke repeated his demand for Theo to stay away from Cecilia.
The moment Theo thought about Jace was Luke’s child, an uncontrollable flame of
anger ignited within him. Bang! Before Luke could react, a punch had already landed on his
cheek.
“Theodore, you’ve gone too far!” Luke staggered back two steps, holding his cheek, and angrily retorted.
“I warn you. You have no right to interfere in the matters between Ceci and me.”
Theodore clenched his fist and warned Luke.
Cecilia continuously tried to intervene, wanting to step forward and stop them, but fearing they might accidentally hurt Jace in her arms, she could only stood aside and fret in
anxiety.
“I have no right? Don’t forget, it was you who caused her suicide!” The two of them couldn’t settle their differences and resumed fighting. Cecilia persistently tried to persuade them, but seeing that no one was listening, she became furious and directly went home.
Theo and Luke fought for a while until both of them ran out of energy.
“Where’s Ceci?” When Theo turned around, he was panic to find Cecilia disappeared, and he immediately felt a sense regret for engaging in the fight that made Cecilia unhappy. He walked to the car, intending to drive home. Before leaving, he warned Luke not to interfere in their affairs. “Now that I’ve returned, I will take care of Ceci and the child.”
Then he drove away. Upon arriving home, Theo noticed that the door lock had been tampered with, which instantly made him anxious. He forcefully pushed open the door and swiftly entered.
