Chapter 77 No Apologies Accepted
In the dressing room, Freya took out her makeup remover and carefully wiped off the makeup on her face.
Although the cosmetics were safe for pregnant women, she preferred to have no makeup on.

Freya asked, “Which company are you signed with now?”
Aya replied with the name of the company. It wasn’t a big company but an actor’s own studio.
The actor didn’t have many resources, so he could only sign with newly graduated actors.
Freya thought for a moment and said, “Do you want to sign with Summerzone Entertainment?”

As they spoke, there was a knock on the door.
Freya thought it might be Matthew, so she called out for the person to come in.
The door opened, and the director walked in followed by the host from earlier and several members of the production team.
Freya’s eyebrows twitched, and Aya turned her head back to continue removing her makeup.
The director walked up to Freya and gave her a complicated look before bowing and apologizing. “Miss Kaufmann, I’m really sorry for not informing you about Danna beforehand.”
The host followed suit.
Freya glanced at Matthew, who was leaning against the door frame behind the group of people and smiling at her.
She sighed and swept her gaze over them. “You don’t need to apologize to me.
Apologies were only necessary for unintentional mistakes. But the director and host knew about her grudge against Danna beforehand.
As for the questions about Radley, it was all just for her to get more views.
She couldn’t accept this kind of after-the-fact apology.
Embarrassment was written all over the director’s face, He was a well-known director in the industry and had planned many popular shows with high viewership.

Matthew glanced at Aya’s back. “Do you like her?”
“Yes. She’s a nice person, Freya replied.
They chatted and walked outside.
In the director’s office, the director sat there with a dark face.
As someone with a keen eye, Danna walked up to him and said, “Director Patel, don’t be angry. After all, Freya is the daughter of the Kaufmanns, and it’s normal for her to have a princess-like attitude.”
“If it weren’t for the Hoods, I wouldn’t have bothered with her!” The director was very angry.

Freya held her forehead. “Matthew, just take me West Geft.”
He raised an eyebrow. “You’ve been recording the show for a long time. Let’s eat something before you go back to work.”
Freya frowned and looked at him through the rearview mirror. “Matthew, I appreciate the help you’ve given me before, and I’m grateful to you.”
He nodded and asked, “So?”
“I know you and my brother have a good relationship. You’ve been good friends with him for more than ten years, so I’m willing to treat you as a friend too. But please don’t have any other ulterior motives Lowards me,” Freya said calmly.
