Chapter 74 It’s Basically a Guarantee of Popularity
The TV program that Matthew invested in was called “Hearsay”.
The program was hosted by three famous hosts in the country, and three guests would sit at a table to have a conversation. Because of its relaxed style, there were also board games during the intermission.
Freya watched several episodes, and the program format remained the same.
In just two days, Matthew sent her soine questions from the program director.
Freya crossed out some questions about her personal life before sending them back.
The program team could provide standard answers on the prompter for the questions.
However, Freya knew a lot about the funeral industry and didn’t plan to memorize those standard
answers.
Soon, it was the day of the program recording. Freya put on light makeup. When the program team sent a car to pick her up, she found that the driver was Matthew.
Sitting in the back seat of the car, she lazily stretched her waist and said, “You’re early.”
“Well, we need time for post-production editing, and the director said we have to work around the other, guests’ schedules.”
“Who are the other two guests?” she asked with her eyes closed.
“I don’t know. I’m not interested in the other guests.” Matthew looked at her taking a nap through the rearview mirror and smiled with a hint of tenderness. “Be careful not to mess up your makeup.”
Freya wore a black dress today. paired with a red gemstone necklace. Her skin was porcelain-white and delicate. The program was recorded at the broadcasting building of Twin Canary Studios, and Freya was taken backstage upon arrival.
Matthew separated from her. “I have to go see the director. Call me if you need anything.”
“There’s nothing to worry about. Thank you.” She waved her hand.
He smiled and left. In the waiting room, she took out her phone to pass the time.
After a while, the door was pushed open, and a beautiful woman stood at the door. Her appearance was extremely gorgeous and full of style.
When she saw Freya, she immediately walked over with a smile. “Freya, I heard that you are one of the guests today. Hello, I’m Aya Cole.”
“Hello.” Freya recognized Aya and smiled. “You’re the female lead of Moonlit Journey, right? I saw you at -the opening ceremony before.”
Aya had a straightforward personality and sat down. “Yes. Ryan and I are also friends. You are Ryan’s cousin, so you are also my friend.”
The two chatted for a while, mostly about Moonlit Journey, Ryan, and this program.
After Aya’s assistant brought water twice, they both realized that something was wrong.

“It’s been an hour since we got here, right?”
Aya frowned. “Do we have to wait that long? Why did they ask us to come this early then?”
Freya wasn’t feeling well either. “Maybe it’ll be our turn soon.”
Another hour passed, and Aya’s face became ugly. “I’ll let my assistant go ask the director team what’s going on.”
The assistant came back soon after. “Aya, the director team said that the mystery guest is stuck in traffic. They want us to wait a little longer.”
“Mystery guest?” Freya raised her eyebrows.
“This program usually has three guests, two of whom are revealed to the public, and one is a mystery guest. However, under normal circumstances, they won’t keep it a secret from the guests. I wonder what’s going on this time?”
Aya turned to look at Freya. “Freya, let’s go touch up our makeup. I think your makeup is a bit smudged.”
The two went to the dressing room to touch up their makeup. Aya was accompanied by a professional makeup artist, while Freya simply applied some lipstick. Then, they returned to the waiting room.
Another two hours passed, and the director team brought in lunch boxes.
Aya said coldly. I’m not recording this show anymore. I’ve never seen such a guest before!”
The assistant tried to persuade her.
Freya opened the lunch box and thought about it. After all, this program was invested in by Matthew, and it could be considered her friend’s program.
Then, she persuaded Aya, “Let’s at least eat before leaving. We can’t have an empty stomach, can we?”
Aya smiled. “You still have the mood to eat. Your temperament is quite different from what is said online about the indulgent young lady from the Kaufmanns.”
They finished their lunch and had some water.
Just as the lunch box was taken away, the program team notified them, “The mystery guest has arrived. Please come with me to the studio.”
Aya’s facial expression turned bad, and they walked together to the studio.
Freya whispered, “Relax your face. The audience won’t know that you are angry. What if they think you are throwing a tantrum?”
Aya gritted her teeth. “What tantrum can I throw? I just entered the industry two years ago. Moonlit Journey is the first TV drama in which I play the female lead. Ugh, can’t wait to see who that mystery guest
is!”
They arrived at the studio and sat down, but the mystery guest didn’t show up.
After the director gave the signal to start, the host introduced the two guests.
Aya’s face softened, and she smiled at the camera, but her expression still seemed unnatural.

Freya nodded lightly and said, “Hello everyone.”
The host smiled and looked at Freya. “We want to thank Miss Kaufmann for taking the time out of her busy schedule to come to our program. It’s truly an honor.”
The conversation quickly turned to Aya’s Moonlit Journey. The host asked, “I heard Moonlit Journey is currently filming on the grasslands. Aya, did you fly back to participate in our program?”
Aya smiled. “Yes, I’ve always liked watching this program and since I have no other movies to film at the moment, I came back specifically for this.”
The host seemed somewhat regretful. “Actually, we also invited Ryan, but unfortunately, he couldn’t make it. I suppose he is still busy filming his scenes?”
Freya was asked several times about her opinion on Moonlit Journey.
The program had a rhythm to it, and after asking Aya a few questions, the host turned to Freya.
As the event drew to a close, the mystery guest finally was going to make an appearance.
The host had a mysterious expression on his face and said. “Speaking of this mystery guest, both of you and she can be considered acquaintances.
Acquaintances?
Freya sensed something strange.
The door behind the table opened automatically, and a familiar woman in a pink dress stood there waving at the camera.
Freya’s face changed slightly.
Aya’s face blackened in an instant.
“Why didn’t you guys tell me it’s her?” she asked the host softly.
The host smiled. “Please welcome Danna Delgado!”
Although Danna had faced some controversies and had a bad reputation, she was still popular.
Moreover, after losing a large number of fans, she still had her die-hard fans who wouldn’t leave her even if she was subjected to scandals.
Aya stood up and was about to leave after seeing that the host was ignoring her.
Freya pressed Aya down under the table. “Don’t. Or that’ll be what they want to see!”
If she were to leave now, she would become a trending topic tonight for supposedly showing off her status. Although it might seem like an accident on the show, it would be a hot topic generating traffic and
attention.
Aya gritted her teeth and sat down, but her complexion did not improve.
Danna swayed her skirt and sat down across from Freya.
The host introduced Danna with a smile while looking at Freya and Aya.
The conflict between Danna and Freya started with Radley. These two major families in Caltun, plus Danna as a rising star, were a guarantee of popularity.
As for the conflict between Ava and Danna, Danna was the original female lead of Moonlit Journey, while Ava was the replacement for the female lead. Recently, Danna’s fans have been leaving comments on Aya’s Twitter, which had caused Ava’s fans to fight back.
The viewership for this episode was sure to skyrocket
