Why is it her again? Radley thought.
His eyes sharpened as he recalled how Freya was like an invisible person when she was by his side before. And now, his life was filled with shadows related to her after their divorce.
Radley raised his eyes. “How did you find out about this?”
The Kaufmanns and Ben Mccarthy seem to have no intention of hiding this. Connor speculated, “I suspected Jean may be related to the Kaufmann family or a friend of theirs, Mr. Monaghan.”
The car stopped at the traffic light, and he weakly added, “Could it be because of your divorce that led to the termination of the contract?”

Jean’s request to replace Danna for no reason was most likely for Freya. And only the Kaufmann family

After returning to Smalzot Yard, Radley went into the study.
Radley had been unsuccessful in finding out Jean’s information, even after asking Connor to do so. Thus, Radley was doing it himself this time.
It was already 4:30 in the morning, and there was already a glimmer of light in the sky.
Sitting in front of the computer, Radley looked at the skull avatar composed of code on the screen.
He failed again.
Pinching his forehead, he walked to the floor-to-ceiling window where the morning light outlined his tall, lean figure like a perfect statue.
“Freya…” His low voice carried both magnetism and curiosity while Radley narrowed his eyes.
What Danna did to Freya was indeed excessively awful, and it was natural for Freya to want revenge. But was Freya simply seeking revenge against Danna, or did Freya hate Danna?
The difference between the two would determine whether or not Freya still cared about him.
