“Janet?” Tasha was also shocked to see that the interviewer was Janet.
She knew that Janet was a designer in W Marks, but she didn’t expect that she would be the one to interview her. As for why Tasha came to W Marks, she had her reasons. After divorcing Seth, Tasha got a lot of money in alimony and she went back to the Javis family.
The Javis family had married their daughter, Tasha, into the Lester family for mutual benefits. Dalores could tell that the pregnant applicant and Janet knew each other, so she narrowed her eyes and asked, “How do you two know each other?”
“We studied in the same school. Relax. I’ll conduct a fair and un-biased interview.”
Janet knew that the professional way to go was to judge Tasha solely by her works. And she knew that this was what Tasha really wanted. She wanted to get rid of the shackles of marriage and gain recognition with her own design ability.
Dalores rolled her eyes and watched Janet closely.
This young girl was a bad liar. Obviously, Janet also wanted to recruit her friend, but she pretended not to know her that well.
“Then let’s start the interview now.” Dalores began to look through Tasha’s resume and portfolio as well.
