Chapter 60 She’s Fierce
Freya felt a strange sense of embarrassment surging up within her. As she clenched her fists, she cast a peek toward Radley and silently urged him to leave.
“Sir, are you mistaking me for someone else? I’m not Miss Kaufmann.”
Radley’s dark eyes shone with a faint glimmer. “Miss Kaufmann, when did you get this tattoo? It looks nice on you.”
Freya gritted her teeth. How could he, the supposedly intelligent one, act so dumb right now? Has he not noticed the look I’m giving him?
Chris looked at Radley as he was surprised to see his friend unable to hold himself back.
After that, he smiled. “Radley, I just arrived in Caltun and was thinking of visiting you.”
Freya frowned. “Do you two know each other?”
“Miss Parker, Radley and I are as close as brothers.” Chris smiled with a hint of malice. “But why did he call you Miss Kaufmann? Isn’t Paker your family name?”
In a flash, Freya figured it out. She had been fooled!
Since Chris was Radley’s friend, he must have recognized her from the beginning!
Instead, he acted as if he didn’t know her and played along with her acting.
Freya clenched her fists. Considering that she was pregnant, she restrained her anger.
“Hey, is this fun for you?” She looked at Radley coldly.

Finally, he managed to catch up with her at the entrance of the restaurant.

“You’re right. You were just a spectator watching the show.” Freya gritted her teeth. Despite knowing that she was in the wrong, she was enraged and felt as if she was being played.
As a car passed by, Radley turned serious and pulled her closer. In a low and mellow voice, he said, “Stop making a scene.”
She pursed her lips. “Fine, I admit that it was my mistake. Can you let go of me now?”
He didn’t release his grip. Instead, he narrowed his eyes as he looked at her. “Why did you pretend to be Isabella Parker to go on this blind date?”
What if the man who shows up for the blind date ends up falling for her?
Freya pursed her lips. As she thought about the relationship between Radley and Chris, she suppressed her anger and explained, “Isabella is my future sister-in-law.”
At this, Radley immediately understood. After a few seconds of silence, he said, “I’ll take care of this. I’ll make sure the Holland family informs the Parker family that Chris isn’t interested in Isabella.”
Freya glanced at him. Is he really that kind?
However, her anger had dissipated.
“Okay. Can you let go of me now?”
Radley released his hand and watched her get into the car and drive away.
He could still feel the touch of her wrist between his fingers. Her slender and delicate wrist softened his heart.

Freya carried a big bag on her back and replied, “I’m going to visit Madam Daniella at the Monaghans’
mansion.”
“You’re going to the Monaghans’ mansion?” Sylvia sat up straight and furrowed her eyebrows. “Why are you going there?”
Freya smiled. “Mom, no matter what the Monaghan family is like, Madam Daniella still treats me as her granddaughter. Doesn’t hurt me to be nice to her too.”
After trying to persuade her for a while, she also informed Sylvia about Daniella’s Alzheimer’s disease.
