Kaylee cautiously stepped forward to block Freya’s sight toward Darrell.
“This is my boyfriend, Miss Kaufmann!” she declared warily.
Freya sneered. “And? Why do you feel the need to tell me about it?”
Kaylee was seeing red. “Can you stop staring at my boyfriend? It’s easy for people to misunderstand you as having a crush on him!”
Freya scoffed again. “Miss, you’re quite nosy. Do you think everyone has to follow your orders on where to look? Why would you assume that I’m so captivated by your boyfriend? Do you really think I would be interested in a man who blatantly promotes himself as a romantic option?”
What do you mean by blatantly offering himself as a romantic option? Kaylee wondered.
Frowning, she suddenly realized that Freya was insulting her crush. For a moment, she forgot that Freya was the daughter of the Kaufmanns and slammed her hand on the table as she stood up. “Freya, I know about you and Edward, and I know you’re trying to seduce my boyfriend using those tactics. Let me tell you, it’s impossible!”
The girl’s voice was so loud that it immediately drew the attention of those around them.
Freya’s eyes turned cold, and she looked at Darrell. “Did you tell them that I wanted to seduce you?”

Rosie was dressed in an exquisitely crafted long black dress today with hidden red patterns.

Freya frowned slightly. Why is she here?
As a good friend of Hannah, Kaylee had been visiting Hannah’s house many times before and knew Rosie as well.
Hannah had mentioned to Kaylee before that Rosie didn’t like Freya as her daughter-in-law, and the subsequent divorce between Radley and Freya confirmed Hannah’s words.

Amidst the discussions, Freya’s face gradually turned cold. Are these kids implying that I’m the one behaving improperly here and trying to seduce a university student?

Kaylee pulled Darrell beside her. “Darrell, don’t be afraid. This is Hannah’s mother. Just tell her what Freya said to you, and she will help us!”
Darrell felt awkward as he knew very well that Freya still had the voice recording on her phone from carlier!

However, Rosie had run out of patience with their quarrel. She looked at Freya indifferently. “Freya, what do you have to say?”
Freya’s eyes were calm. “Since Miss Scott believes that I seduced her boyfriend, I happen to have some evidence in my hand. How about we release it and let everyone judge for themselves what really happened.”
