Chapter 126 Exposing Her Identity
At the Caltun Airport.
Freya bid farewell to Brandon and his wife. Brandon glared at her and said, “Hmph, you brought me back. to the country, and now you’re ignoring me?”
Freya smiled helplessly. “The project in the West Geft is jointly responsible by the Kaufmann Group and the Monaghan Group. You should follow Radley first. He can arrange everything for you. The main reason is that he has a hot spring villa there, which is very suitable for your wife to recuperate.”
At the mention of his wife, Brandon became silent.
Although Trisha Lane’s face was haggard, her elegant features from her youth could still be vaguely seen. She gently supported her husband’s arm and smiled at Freya. “Thank you so much, Miss Kaufmann. I have been persuading him to come back, but he insisted on accompanying me. When you sent the photo of that pavilion, he stared at it every day for several days and didn’t sleep well. I knew he must be thinking about it.”
Freya smiled from the bottom of her heart. She was sincerely envious of Brandon and Trisha’s relationship. Even if he was passionate about his career, he still prioritized the person he loved. They were childhood sweethearts and had been together from young to old age. Not many couples could do that.
“Okay. Mrs. Lane, take good care of yourself. When I get home and finish packing. I’ll come to see you. If you need anything in Caltun, just give me a call anytime.”
Freya had already become familiar with Brandon and his wife. After she gave a few more instructions, she bid farewell to Radley.
To be honest, her mood was a bit complicated. After all, she had not expected that a trip to Lagresh would bring her and Radley’s relationship closer to that of friends.
“Radley, please take care of Mr. and Mrs. Lane.”
Radley looked at her with a serious gaze. “Remember to join the meeting at the Joint Department in West Geft this weekend.”
Then, she shrugged her shoulders without any pressure in her heart. “Okay.”
She got in the car, and Brisa drove her back to the Kaufmann Residence.
On the way, Freya looked at the scenery outside the window. The car window was half-opened, and the breeze blew on her face. She squinted comfortably.
“After staying in Lagresh for a week, I feel that Caltun is still better. At least we don’t have to wear such bulky clothes in this weather.”
Brisa responded while driving. “I agree.”
Freya glanced at her from the rearview mirror and smiled.
During this past week, she had a lot of fun with Brisa, but she could also sense that Brisa was suppressing her nature. After all, Tisch, one of the four administrators of The Green Flamation forum was notorious for her bad temper!
Freya hooked her lips. After Tisch returned to Lagresh, her second task from her client should be arriving
<
Freya held her cheek and quietly took out her phone. She logged into The Green Flamation forum, entered the management group, and sent a few messages in the group, mentioning Tisch.
Tisch did not respond. After all, she was focusing on driving.
When the car drove back to the Kaufmann Residence, Brisa got out of the car and watched Freya enter the
house.
Usually, Freya would ask her to enter together to handle official business or help out. What was going on today?
Brisa frowned slightly, but she didn’t overthink it. She got back in the car and checked her phone.
There were more than a dozen unread messages in The Green Flamation forum management group.
In broad daylight, the group was unusually lively. When Brisa opened the group chat, she was shocked by the messages inside.
The information was sent by Green Scylla, the middle-aged divorced male hacker who had a child to take
care of
Brisa stared at the dozen or so photos that Green Scylla had sent, all of which showed a back view. Although the person’s face couldn’t be seen clearly, the back view was hers. She felt her scalp tingling!
The car’s interior in the photos was also clearly visible.
Her lips twitched as she scanned Freya’s car and then zoomed in to enlarge the photos.
The angle seemed to be one that only Freya could have taken.
Why did Green Scylla have these photos?
Brisa was dumbfounded for a moment, and then a terrible thought flashed through her mind!
She sent several messages and frantically mentioned Green Scylla. ‘Green Scylla, what’s with these photos? Are you going to take action against my target person?”
In the living room of the Kaufmann Residence.
Freya sat on the sofa looking lazy while typing in the group. ‘Don’t leave just yet. Come in and have some snacks.
Brisa sent several exclamation marks and then logged off.
Three minutes later. Freya smiled as she watched Brisa rush in through the front door.
Brisa no longer had the cautious look of an assistant. She stood with her hands on her hips, and pointed at Freya with her finger: “You! You! You!”
Freya smiled. “Brisa, didn’t you want to meet me in person? You’ve seen me now.”
Brisa touched her chest and her eyes were bulging in disbelief.
“Green Scylla? It took her several seconds to pronounce these two words.
Freya nodded and smiled. “You should have noticed it on the day at Evergreen University, but unfortunately, your brain isn’t very useful.”
Brisa gritted her teeth and felt that her hands were itching. “You’re indeed Green Scylla. Your sarcastic remarks are the same as online. You’ve lied to me for so long. Can I beat you up?”
Freya touched her stomach and acted innocently. “Not really. I’m pregnant now. Do you want to hit a pregnant woman?”
In The Green Flamation forum. Ink and Heartless Scoundrel were also curious. They didn’t know what happened between Green Scylla and Tisch.
Heartless Scoundrel wrote, ‘Green Scylla, what’s wrong? Did you take action against Tisch’s target?”
Ink wrote, Wasn’t Tisch supposed to get close to the Miss Kaufmanns? Green Scylla is also in Caltun. Did he try to woo her?
The group was lively.
In reality, Freya and Brisa stared at each other.
Freya pulled Brisa to sit down and said, “Don’t be angry. Sit down and I’ll explain everything to you slowly.”
The two sat down and talked for a while. Freya explained everything to Brisa little by little.
“I couldn’t tell you earlier. If you knew too much, it would be dangerous for you. But after we returned from Lagresh, I thought your client would have you move on to the next step soon. I probably know that he wants something from me. So, I also thought about it on the way back. You should withdraw from this task. It’s only three hundred million. You can earn it back by taking on more than ten small tasks with a lower risk.”
Brisa raised her eyebrows and slapped the armrest of the sofa. “Withdraw from the task? These people are targeting you! You want me to withdraw from the task?”
The four major administrators of The Green Flamation forum were actually as close as family members and they were comrades who could rely on and trust each other.
For Tisch, someone targeting anyone of her other three comrades was almost the same as targeting
herself.
