Chapter 110 Getting Rid of Danna With Ten Million
As Danna stared at the man in the photo, the color drained from her face.
Back then, she hooked up with Khalil and drove away all the women around him.
Then, she coaxed Khalil into adopting her and thus finally managed to whitewash her background. To the public, she was the Delgados’ daughter and had a glamorous identity.
After Khalil’s death, she burned all the photos of him and destroyed all traces of his existence.
She inherited the Delgado family’s million-dollar fortune and went abroad to study.
Tightly holding the dossier, Danna recalled when Radley found her back then. He said that the Delgado family’s daughter had saved his life when he was little.
She was puzzled at the time because Khalil didn’t have a daughter before her.

At the sight of Danna’s pale face, Rosie sneered. “What? Don’t you recognize the man?”

The living room was silent. Danna clenched her hands, thinking of various scenarios and solutions.

“Madam Rosic, did you hear some rumors?” With a fragile look, Danna tried to pull Rosie’s sleeve, but a maid stopped her.
“Danna, starting from today, you have absolutely no connection with my family. If you dare to spread rumors or utter a single word out of place, I’ll make sure you regret it for the rest of your miserable life!”
Then, Rosie took a card from the table and threw it contemptuously at Danna’s feet.
“You’re just after the Monaghans’ wealth and power. Here’s ten million. Take the money and never show up again! If I catch you bothering my son again, I’ll kill you!”
The card was on the ground. Danna drooped her head, and her shoulders were seen slightly trembling. She seemed utterly heartbroken.

“Walter, see the guest out.” Rosie stood up.
Immediately, Walter stepped forward. “Miss Delgado, please leave.”

Danna gritted her teeth and gazed fixedly at Rosie, asking. “Madam Rosie, why won’t you listen to my explanation?”
At this moment, Rosie didn’t want to hear a single word from Danna anymore.
She turned around and went upstairs.
Seeing that Danna still refused to go, Walter called two maids to pull Danna away.
As they neared the front gate of the Monaghan Residence, Danna broke free from the maids.
“I can walk by myself!”
The two maids looked at Walter, who then nodded in disgust.
A few reporters spotted Danna coming out of the Monaghans’ mansion and immediately took photos of
her.
Although her eyes were red, there was a relieved smile on her small face. She lowered her head, and a strand of hair brushed her cheek.
After getting in the car, Danna drove away.
The paparazzi exchanged glances.
“Danna’s mood seems pretty good after she came out of the Monaghan Residence.”
“After the scandal, do the Monaghans still want her?”
“Who knows, the affairs of the wealthy are not something we can understand.”
In the Kaufmann Residence.
Freya and Melissa were playing video games in the living room while Braxton and Ryan chatted on the nearby sofa.
With the production of Moonlit Journey completed, Ryan planned to take a break from acting for a while.
As they talked about Freya, Ryan’s gaze swept over her belly meaningfully.
“Brax, her pregnancy…”
Braxton also looked at his sister’s belly. It was getting harder to hide the pregnancy now that her belly was getting more obvious.
The Kaufmanns and Marshalls were as close as one, so Braxton told Ryan in a whisper about Freya finding out about the pregnancy only after the divorce.
Instantly, Ryan’s smile faded slightly. “Let’s face it. Getting an abortion would be the best choice, at least for Frey.”
“Let her decide for herself. Besides, if born, the baby will be our little nephew or niece, Braxton said softly. “It’s complicated. Don’t tell Melissa too many details yet.”
Ryan nodded.
It was a rare family gathering. So, they made a video call to Vroria.
Smilingly, Freya chatted with her grandmother, Sarah, who was in good health. During the call, Noah saw Melissa and immediately scowled.
“Tell Mel to get over here!”
Melissa avoided the camera.
Sneering, Noah chided, “I heard that you got into a fight with the Wallaces’ daughter recently. Seems like you’re getting bolder and bolder. Now, you’re causing trouble in Caltun!”
“Dad, it’s not my fault, defended Melissa softly.
However, she still got a scolding from her father.
Later that afternoon, Ryan returned to his residence in Caltun.
He didn’t want the paparazzi and fans to bother the Kaufmann Residence. So, despite Freya and Braxton’s efforts to keep him, he left.
After Ryan and Melissa had departed, Freya went back to the living room, sat down, ate some fruits, and then picked up her tablet to work.
She scrolled through the comments on her short video platform and answered any interesting questions. Braxton ordered the kitchen to prepare dinner before sitting across from Freya to deal with work.
As time flew, Freya finished going through the comments. Seeing that her brother was still occupied with the Kaufmann Group’s business, she opened an encrypted folder on her tablet.
Inside were her analyses of the various medicinal formulas in The Compendium of Medical Wisdom.
She was not just looking at the formulas but also trying to understand the patterns behind them.
She followed the encryption method and tried to reorganize the compendium based on the patterns. However, it was fruitless.
Just the text alone was encrypted in many ways. Hence, it would take a lot of effort to solve the mystery of the compendium.
Freya continued working until the butler came to the living room and announced that dinner was ready.

During dinner, the siblings chatted.
“I’ve added more security to the mansion. They’re all from the Hood Group’s security company. Matthew personally selected them, so they’re trustworthy,” stated Braxton.
Freya nodded. “You can take care of it, Brax. By the way, how’s your leg doing?”
Braxton’s leg had almost fully recovered. He could walk normally now but couldn’t engage in strenuous
exercise.
“Quite well. It should be completely healed very soon. I’ve been doing rehabilitation exercises every day”
“Brilliant.” Upon thinking for a moment, Freya asked. “Brax, do you know that Izzy went to Vroria?”
