My Rich Hot and Infertile (Or Maybe Not) Husband Chapter 622

“Ma’am, would you like some drinks?”
Chapter 622
Owen smartly suggested, “There’s a drink shop across the street”
Celeste had indulged enough in the morning and didn’t dare to drink now. But she thought for a moment and said, “Get a lemonade for Sean. He’ll need it to cool down after his exam*
Owen left as told
Celeste turned to look at Liam This guy didn’t even take off his shoes. How was he going to sleep when Sean arrived?
She went up and took off Liam’s shoes, then moved his legs to push his body further into the bed.
In the process, she tripped and fell onto Liam.
Her chin hit Liam’s belt, causing her to gnt her teeth in pain.
As she was about to get up, she suddenly felt something rising underneath her.
She paused for a moment, then her face tumed dark. She picked up a pillow and hit Liam on the head
“Liam, go to hell!”
She said with a stern face and stormed out
Liam
When Owen returned with the drinks, he found Liam sitting alone on the bed, looking upset Celeste was nowhere to be found.
“Mr. Reed, where’s the lady?” Owen asked
“She left Liam said in a deep voice
He wanted to ask where she had gone.
But seeing Liam’s expression, it seemed like she had left and wasn’t coming back
So, he kept his mouth shut.
After a while, he heard Liam ask, “How did she find out?”
Owen…
He wasn’t in the car, so he didn’t know
Three days later, Mr. K contacted Celeste
The investigation into the car accident seven years ago had hit a dead end.
The driver of the Campbell family at the time had been recently diagnosed with Alzhe mer’s He couldn’t provide any more information for the time being.
If his illness was real, anything he said could probably not be used as evidence in court.
The other lead he had, the taxi that had collided with their car, was even more bizane.
Not only was the driver missing, but so were the passengers.
There were no clues at all, which was very strange.
Mr. K believed that someone had erased these people’s information.
And this person, most likely, was not Shawn.
If he had the ability to do so, the first person he would have erased would be the Campbell family’s driver
“The existing evidence is incomplete, a lot of it is speculation without any substantial evidence, Mr K paused, “I’m sorry, this is all I can find for now. If you want to stop the investigation now, I will refund the second payment in full.”
“No need,” Celeste said, “Keep looking I refuse to believe he conveniently got Alzheimer’s when we started investigating”
Mr K nodded, “However, I suggest you start looking into Shawn and Helen’s relationship.”
Celeste looked at him, “Are you suggesting I drive a wedge between them?”
Mr K smiled, “If Shawn did this, Helen definitely knew about it Shawn had feelings for your mother. He’s timid and weak. Without someone else’s instigation, he wouldn’t have had the guts to go through with it”
Celeste had thought about this, but now that she knew she wasn’t Shawn’s daughter, she wasn’t sure.
“Helen is not an easy person,” Mr. K said softly. “Do you know that she was once a poor student supported by your mother. For her, mamage with Shawn was an important way to help her cross classes. She is the person who covets your mother’s position the most”
Celeste tightened her lips, and it took her a while to say, “I get it”
Before she left, Mr. K stopped her again, “At the time of the car accident seven years ago, your ex–husband was there too, coordinating things on the scene. I reckon he probably knew the person in the taxi”
