Molly apologized indifferently, but her tone softened instantly when she turned to Steven
“Steven, are you hungry? There’s a fresh steak ahead, I can take you there‘
Steven responded calmly. “I wanted that sushi, but unfortunately you made it dirty”
Molly froze for a second, then laughed. “That’s easy to fix, I’ll have the chef make you another one.”
Steven retorted, “I wanted the one that just fell on the floor”
Molly couldn’t keep up the smile Wasn’t this a blatant complaint against her?
Not wanting to play the fool, Celeste picked up her plate and said, “Steve, I’m going to go ahead”
And with that, she walked off with her plate
Compared to Steven, Celeste suddenly felt Liam was easier to bully.
If Liam said he wanted to eat the one on the floor, she’d probably pick it up and feed him, even if he scolded her.
But Steven, she didn’t dare. She feared Steven would kill her.
Even though he seemed quite friendly.
Just as Celeste slipped away from Steven, Liam grabbed her wrist and pulled her to one side.

Celeste glanced at him, “Oh, you mean Steve? Or I should call him ‘brother”
Liam was stunned. Brother?
She’s never called him “brother” before!
Celeste shrugged, “Nothing much, just chatting about our hobbies and interests”
Liam’s face tightened even more, “Why do you need to know his hobbies and interests?”
Celeste casually sat down, started eating her food, and said while chewing. “He’s my boss now, shouldn’t I get to know him better?”
Her eyes swept over his waist, her flippant tone and words poking at his pride and making him flustered.
Liam said flatly. “Do you know what you’re saying?”
“Nothing much,’ Celeste looked innocent, “What does Mr. Reed think it is?”
Could her relationship with Steven be any closer than hers with him?
Liam lowered his voice, “Don’t call Steven bro!”
Celeste looked at him, “Why not? Mr. Garcia lets me call him bro because he respects me.”
Liam couldn’t admit he was jealous and said, “He’s not respecting you, he’s taking advantage of me. If you call him bro, wouldn’t I have to call him bro too? I don’t want to call him bro!”
“Steve is not as childish as you, okay? Besides, I’ve divorced you already, who told you to follow my lead?”
Liam growled. “Anyway, just don’t call him bro!”
While arguing, a few people pushed a giant cake into the scene.
