Chapter 565
face
The man was taken aback, his face quickly turning ugly. He thought to himself, Who the hell was this guy, acting all high and mighty?
His colleague, who recognized Steven, whispered, “I think he’s Mr. Garcia from Cloud Top Inc.”
CloudTop Inc., the Garcia family of J City
The editor of Tangerine Entertainment had tried countless times to score an interview with Cloud Top Inc., but to no avail.
He didn’t expect to run into him today. He thought it would be a career highlight, but it turned out to be a stumbling block.
The man was pale and pained, angry but unable to speak.
Steven, however, was not so patient. Coldly, he said, “Move!”
Only then did the reporters blocking the way step aside.
Steven turned to Celeste, his voice softening. “Let’s go, let’s get out of here.”

Finally, Celeste had recovered from the courtroom drama. She gathered herself, thanked him, and left, with Trisha following Steven.
Mason’s car was already waiting at the entrance. Steven said to Mason, “Mason, you go first. Ms. Campbell and I have some business matters to discuss. I’ll drop her off later.”
Mason looked at Celeste. “Celeste, are you okay?”
Although Celeste was a bit pale, she was holding up.
She said, “I’m fine. Mr. Fletcher, you’ve been working hard. I’ll treat you to dinner someday. You’ve been busy with my stuff all these days. You should go home and rest early today.”
Mr. Fletcher agreed and then turned to Steven. “I’ll leave Ms. Campbell in your hands, Mr. Garcia.”
Steven looked at Mason a bit surprised, then nodded. “Don’t worry.”
Celeste and Trisha got into Steven’s car.
Steven didn’t bring his assistant.
The smell in the car was as pleasant as always, calming Celeste’s agitation.
After the car started, Steven remained silent.
Trisha, who wasn’t very familiar with him, asked a few questions and then stopped talking. She just looked at Celeste worriedly. “Letti, are you okay?”
Finding out that your father isn’t your biological father and that you’re the product of your mother’s affair was hard for anyone to accept, But the thought of Shawn not being Letti’s real dad was quite satisfying for Trisha.
That man didn’t deserve to be a father!
It was just infuriating that this revelation had thrust Celeste into the spotlight.
Celeste shook her head and forced a smile. “I’m fine. It’s just strange to have my childhood suspicions confirmed.”
She suspected she wasn’t Shawn’s daughter when she saw him favoring Angel.
She thought it was just a complaint about Shawn’s favoritism, but she didn’t expect it to come true one day.
Trisha pondered. “Maybe the hospital mixed up the sperm when your mom had IVF?”
Celeste said, “I wasn’t an IVF baby. After my mom had me, Shawn wanted a second child. That’s when my mom first tried IVF, but it didn’t work because of her health.”
Steven asked, “Could it be possible that Ms. Caitlyn isn’t your biological mother? That they adopted you?”
That’s impossible,” Celeste immediately denied. “If I was adopted, wouldn’t everyone around me know? And Shawn wouldn’t have waited until today to bring out this DNA test.”
