Chapter 553
Celeste came home and crashed She didn’t wake up until almost noon the next day.
Trisha Colton had the day off. She took advantage of Celeste’s slumber to hit the supermarket and buy a bunch of groceries, planning to cook a feast at home.
Unlike Celeste, whose cooking skills hadn’t improved in years, Trisha was a culinary wizard. She was just lazy and didn’t bother to cook much when she lived alone. Now that she was living with Celeste, she had the chance to show off her skills.
Whenever she had free time, she would whip up delectable dishes for Celeste, who would act as her sous–chef and take care of the cleaning and washing up afterward.
But today, Celeste overslept. By the time she got up, Trisha was almost done cooking.
As Trisha was dishing up the food, her phone rang.
She didn’t pick it up until she sat down at the dining table. Upon reading the message, she immediately began cursing.
“Liam, that scumbag, has moved on already!”
Celeste paused but didn’t react.
Trisha shoved the phone in Celeste’s face, “Look at this, Liam has barely been divorced for a few days and he’s already seeing another woman!”
Despite her self–imposed indifference, Celeste couldn’t help but take a peek.
The post was from Nicolas Francis’s Facebook.
Nicolas had posted a photo on Facebook. It was a picture of Liam being supported by a woman, seemingly in a bar or pub. Liam’s eyes were glazed and his cheeks were flushed, clearly inebriated. The woman, however, looked worried and sober. The woman was none other than Clair, whom Celeste had met not too long ago.
Nicolas had posted this photo on Facebook.
Celeste pressed her lips together, picked up her fork and stabbed a piece of meat, “Let’s just eat.”
Trisha was surprised, “You’re not mad?”
Celeste responded nonchalantly, “Why should I be mad? I’m divorced from him, why should I care who he’s with?”
Seeing Celeste’s reaction, Trisha felt like she might have been making a mountain out of a molehill.
She tossed her phone aside and picked up her chopsticks, “Is that Mr. K reliable?”
“He should be, he has a good reputation,” Celeste had just taken a bite when her phone vibrated.
Mr. K had sent a photo.
Celeste recognized Shawn’s former driver in the photo.
He looked much older, but the mole on his chin was unmistakable.
Celeste quickly replied, “Any updates?”
“Do you recognize this person?”
She replied, “Yes, he used to be the company’s driver.”
Mr. K didn’t respond.
Celeste asked a couple more questions, but he didn’t reply. He must have been busy.
Celeste was getting a bit antsy.
This driver was actually supposed to take her to school back in the day, but because he was tied up, she ended up riding with Caitlyn. Mr. K spotted him and wondered if he knew something.
Just as she was about to ask him further, a Facebook notification from Nicolas popped up on her phone.
It was the same scene from the previous photo, but Liam and Clair seemed even closer. Celeste made a face and promptly blocked Nicolas on Facebook.
Nicolas waited for a while for Celeste’s response and was utterly puzzled when he got nothing.
Wasn’t this news juicy enough?
He almost jumped for joy when he first saw the photo.

Liam had just divorced and everyone in the circle was buzzing about it. Then suddenly, this intimate photo of him and Clair came out and set the whole circle on fire.
Ever since Clair returned to her home country, she had become a hot target for the rich kids in the circle.
Everyone was still lining up to get her, and who would have thought that Liam, a divorced man, would beat them to the punch. Everyone was green with envy.
Nicolas was still waiting for Celestial’s reaction, and to his utter surprise, he got blocked too.
Meanwhile, a letter from the hospital was promptly delivered to Steven’s office by Nathan.
Steven took it and waved Nathan away. “You can leave now.”
Only after Nathan left did Steven open the letter.
Inside was a paternity test.
Steven held his breath as he unfolded it, his eyes slid down to the bottom, and upon seeing the words, his eyebrows knitted together instantly.
How could it not be?
