Celeste had many questions in her mind, but before she could ask them, she heard Liam on the other side of the phone say, “Who wants to talk to her? Don’t make decisions for me!”
Celeste was speechless…
Owen let out a dry chuckle, “Ma’am, please don’t take it to heart. Mr. Reed wasn’t shouting at you. He arrived at the office this morning looking quite off-color. I suggested he visit the hospital first, but he was adamant about completing his work. I presume his wound is causing some discomfort, which might explain his irritability. If it’s not too much trouble, could you drop by the office? Mr. Reed seems to have forgotten his medication.” “Why are you wasting your breath on her?” Liam’s words easily shattered any quilt Celeste had.
Celeste forced a smile, “I think Mr. Reed’s voice is quite energetic, not like he’s in pain from his wound. Since he can insist on going to work, it means the wound is almost healed. Besides, I’m sure there are plenty of women eager to bring him painkillers. I’d better not join the crowd, so as not to make Mr. Reed even more upset when he sees me.”
After saying that, Celeste hung up the phone without waiting for Owen to speak.

Lying in bed, she took out her phone to look at the cassette tape photos she had taken earlier and started to ponder their content.
Assuming the six numbers were a code, there must be a specific order to them. What could it be?
Since the numbers were hidden on the tapes, they must be related to the tapes – maybe the release years?
Celeste checked and found that three of the tapes had the same year and month.
Could it be the first letters of the song titles, then?
She tried that, but the first letters still resulted in duplicate numbers.
At this point, she was really at a loss. There were a few numbers, but no clues whatsoever.
Just as Celeste was racking her brain, her Facebook received several private message notifications.
Frowning, she took a glance and suddenly froze
The account sending her messages was the one she had previously mentioned to Mason as a suspected Sydney alt account.
