Zora’s POV
It was fair to think someone like me would have a hard time getting some sleep, particularly after I met the Dark Lord Alpha himself. However, both Monica and I managed to pull ourselves together to lie in our bed after we were scared sh itl ess. Immediately, we fell asleep.
When I woke up, I felt very energized because the bed was very comfy. Still, I wondered why the Dark Lord Alpha came to see me yesterday. I didn’t think both Monica and I would stay on the bed anytime soon.
‘Zora, I have to admit that the Lord of Wolves is so s exy,’ Monica told me in my mind, happily growling.
‘I think we shouldn’t overstep, Zora. He seems to be an impatient guy,’ she then added, causing me to smile.
‘We should’ve tested his limits then,’ I replied back to my wolf which made her growl happily.
My wolf’s understanding of testing Alphas’ limit wasn’t like mine. Her testing was how good they were in bed. After that, I went to the bathroom to take a shower. However, I was surprised to see how many things were in my trash can.
‘Anyway, how do you think Casey is doing now? Do you think he’ll be dumb enough to come here?’ my wolf asked me, which caused me to feel pain in my chest.

‘I just hope that he stays there for us, not going all the way here with our warriors. Soon, he’ll be a dad and Lori needs him. Our married life is over,’ I told my wolf with tears streaming down from my cheeks as I spoke to her.
Until now, I hadn’t really grieved about my own situation. As I took my clothes off, I entered the bath to cry there. I was so upset at Casey because everything became so complicated. Now, I might be unable to see him ever again.
Casey was my best friend. I truly hated fate because it brought Lori and the Lord of Wolves into our lives and messed everything up. Indeed, Casey had tried his best.
Compared to the other Alphas who handled the situation, he did an extremely good job. If Lori’s father wasn’t an Alpha, she wouldn’t have won. Suddenly, I could hear Kara’s voice in my head as she used a mind-link that caused me to sigh, ‘Zora, where are you?’
‘I’m in my room,’ I answered her.
‘We’ll have breakfast with the ladies. Anyway, I warn you, don’t call our host the Dark Lord Alpha. He doesn’t like it. Last night, the Beta made sure I understood,’ the woman said, but there seemed to be more than she told me about last night.
I couldn’t help but ask her, ‘What’s up with last night?’
With a giggle, Kara replied, ‘Goodness, Zora! He’s like a steed!’

‘Well, I’ve got to make the most of my condition here. Unlike our first impression of him, the Beta is a gentleman. Anyway, what about you and the Alpha?’ she asked me.
‘Nothing ever happened and it’ll remain like that,’ I told Kara, causing her to be quiet for a while.
‘That’s up to you, then. But you must move on from Casey, Zora. I just hope he won’t do something dumb like going here for you because I know that he’s capable of that. Trust me, him living with Lori will be much better than him dying to save you,’ she blatantly told me the truth, prompting me to sigh.
I simply replied, ‘Yeah.’
‘Also, has your mark gone?’ the woman asked me something weird.
‘Nope, why is that?’ I asked her back.
‘Zora, Casey must’ve gone mad! Both my and Eloise’s marks are gone. Our Alphas already rejected us as their mates. The process was so painful that I even passed out. Although I feel very weak now, I’m free at last. Casey’s mark may cause a problem since it means that he still claims that you’re his. The mark will be seen as a defying act,’ Kara tried to warn me, but I secretly felt happy because both Casey and I became a defiant couple.
‘I hope that he’ll reject you or the Dark Lord Alpha will claim you forcefully,’ she added, making me smile again.
I just responded that made her giggle, I want to see the Dark Lord Alpha try to claim me.’
“Trust me, he’ll happily do it,’ Kara retorted, it sounded like the woman had forgotten about her past based on her voice.

As soon as I got out of the bathroom, I opened the wooden cupboard in my room. The cupboard was an antique one that was decorated by decorative carvings on it. It was simply an art masterpiece. Inside of it, there were clothes for me. However, the clothes were very sexy and revealing.
I quickly found myself a lacy gown with designs that cover my nipples and crotch while the rest of the gown was netty. There wasn’t any underwear. It seemed that I had to sh ow my body off. In order to hide Casey’s mark. I let my hair down. After that, I put on a light make up with available products on my vanity table.
