The car drove all the way to the city center, and Ines was led by Ethan into a shop Once inside, she realized it was a jewelry store. The diamonds in the display case sparkled with dazzling light She had a vague idea of what was happening and looked at Ethan.
Ethan looked at Ines seriously and said, “Izzy, our mamage may have been a bit rushed, but we can’t miss out on anything important.” He initially wanted to wait until the wedding to consider it. But his father’s words this morning reminded him. The wedding could be postponed, but a diamond ring was a must. She had given up everything she had worked for over the years to come to A City with him, and he couldn’t let her down

Ethans fingers gently pressed on her lips and whispered, “Izzy, don’t refuse.”
Ines felt a bit emotional and followed him into the store.
The salespeople in the jewelry store were all very astute. When they saw a young couple walk in, both looking quite impressive, they immediately welcomed them, “Welcome to our store. What would you like to purchase?”

The salesperson caught on quickly and led them to another area, pointing to a pair of diamond rings in the display case and introducing them earnestly. “These just arrived by air from our headquarters this morning. This was indeed much better than the previous ones. It was delicate and small, with a standard design that wasn’t complicated at all. She glanced at the price and was a bit shocked. The price was not cheaper than the previous styles.
