Caitlyn strode into his office, armed with a ton of evidence, and threw them in his face, told him
“Two choices: divorce, and I leave you some shares so you don’t starve, but stay away from my company and my daughter, or I submit this evidence to the court and you can rot in jail for the rest of your life”

Cold sweat dripped down his forehead. When Celeste finished talking, he subconsciously glanced at Angel and Helen
Helen gasped, but before she could say anything. Shawn yelled, “You’re lying! You don’t have any evidence!”
“Oh, really?”
Celeste replied calmly. The next second, Shawn received a message on his phone-solid evidence of Angel faking donations.
“Do you want more?”
Celeste continued casually, “I’ve got plenty.”
His face changed dramatically. It took a while for him to speak up, “Celeste, I know you can never forgive me for what I’ve done, but lots of men make the same mistake. I’m your father. My love for you has never changed. If something happens to me, you’ll be left with no one to lean on You have to think it through.”
“Dad…”
She called him softly.
Thinking she’d softened up, he continued, “Celeste, if you’re upset because I cut off the donations to the orphanage, we can talk about it. Maybe we can work something out. After all, it was a project your mom supported, and I genuinely regret it.”
“So, did you intentionally cheat on my mom or not?”
“I chose to marry your mom out of love. If someone didn’t purposely seduce me, I’d never make that mistake.”
Helen’s face turned pale, and Angel was speechless. They couldn’t believe that Shawn chose to save himself.

Celeste’s mocking laugh came over the phone, “Shawn, you’ve outdone yourself. You’d sacrifice anything to save your own skin.” Surprised, his face soured, “You tricked me?”
Cold as ice, Celeste said, “Shawn, do you still remember the divorce agreement you signed with my mom seven years ago?”
His face turned even more gloomy.
“Either follow the divorce agreement, or wait for the court summons.”
With those words, she hung up the call.
Shawn’s face could not have been more embarrassed.
Helen’s didn’t look too great either.
She never thought the man she’s been with for over 20 years would say such things in front of her.
She was one of the students Caitlyn supported back then, and it was Shawn who approached her. He would buy her clothes and take her out.
An inexperienced girl like her couldn’t resist the affection of a mature man, and she soon fell into his trap.
