Chapter 125 (Harper Alizah Grace’s POV)

“Any news?” I asked my cousin, Lisa while reading the book I saw on library this morning.

I saw her sit down on the couch near to me and let out a deep sigh. “Nothing important. Are you really sure that you will go inside the werewolf kingdom?” She asked me worriedly. I stopped reading and look at her.

“Don’t worry about that, I can manage. And besides, I’m not going yet. I still need to know different information for me to execute my plan well. This time I can fail,” All she can do is to nod her head and agree.

“Seems like I can’t stop you anymore, All right then I’ll just help you to seek information.” That’s so kind of her.

“Actually I need your help, Make me a fake identity. I’ll go inside the werewolf territory in disguise,” She look at me and smirk.

“That’s cool and no problem. What will be your name?” I didn’t talk for a second and think. What should they will call me?

“Freya Ridings. A pure werewolf.” I answered.

“Freya, sound so brave like you.” I just grinned.

“Anyway, what you will do inside the palace? I mean, disguise as maid? Warrior? Cook or what?” she asked me again.

“A maid.” I answered shortly. “That’s not cool, a princess will be a maid. Geez, if you’re not my cousin I’ll smack your head.” I giggled on what she said. So silly of her.

“Then smack me, but remember, I won’t think twice to make you pay.” I said amusedly and stood up.

“I’m leaving, do what I told you to do my dear cousin. Bye!” her eyes widened.

“Wait, where are you going? Can I go with you? Hey!” I didn’t listen to her anymore and just ignore her.

“Harper! Geez, this girl!” I just laugh while running fast. I went into my room and get my cloak. I will pay my brother a visit. Just yesterday, I heard that Samantha is pregnant. That’s fast huh? In just a small span of time, I’ll be a aunt now.

“Mom!” I call for my mother’s attention. She was talking to Aunt Louisa right now. When she hear my voice, she turn around with a smile on her face.

“Yes, Honey do you want something?” She asked me sweetly. I nodded my head as I go towards her direction.

“can I borrow your car?” I asked. She looks confused at first, but then she nodded.

“of course hon, you can. Where you were going to go?”

“On vampire kingdom, I’ll visit my brother.” I told her. “Really, say hi for me then.”

“Sure mom. I’ll go ahead now then?” she nodded.

“Okay, take care.” I was about to leave when my cousin scream my name.

“Harper! I’ll go with you! Please, it’s so boring here!” if she is not my cousin, I will think that she is kind of childish annoying creature. “Okay fine, come with me then.” She smiled so widely and giggled.

The two of us went into the car, “Seat belt.” I told her first before starting the engine of the car. She quickly fastened her seatbelt. Why she’s so happy? Oh what, the last time we went there together, I saw talking to a vampire, and that was Wilson. Oh no, does she have a crush on him?

I look at her in disbelief, well that was just a wild guess but who knows if is true of not.

“What are we still waiting for?” she asked me. I’m still staring at her. “Why are you looking at me like that?” She asked me in confusion. A smirked slowly form into my lips.

“Be honest, you and Wilson, what’s going on between the two of you?” I ask while looking at her maliciously. Her face quickly turned into red, oh my why is she blushing right now?

“Wilson who?” She denied. I place my hand on my jaw I smiled maliciously. She blushed even more.

“Okay, okay I’ll tell. I like him,” This time I couldn’t stop myself from laughing. Damn, I didn’t expect that one.

“I think he likes you back.” She quickly look at me.

“Are you sure?” I know that my head and started the drive.

“Yes, I’ve been with him some time before. There’s no problem if the two of you will fall in love. He’s single, this guy is sweet actually. Maybe you are his second chance.” A vampire and witch love story, that gives me goosebumps.

“He is.” Oh, my cousin is in love. I’m happy for her though.

We arrived into the Vampire territory, “I know that it’s Wilson you wanted to see here. So go ahead, we will go home tomorrow.” I told her. She blushed on what I said but she nodded. Just like what I thought so.

I giggled as I watched her walk away from me. She knew where to find him huh. I just shook my head, and started to get inside the palace too. “Harper! You’re here! I’m glad that you visited again!” I hear Samantha yelled from my behind. I smile and walk closer to her.

“Yeah, me and my cousin visited. I heard a good news so I come here,” I said and look at her belly. She’s two weeks pregnant, yet her tummy is getting bigger now. Vampires …

“What will be his or her name?” I asked while caressing her tummy. She thinks for a second then answered my question.

“If She, I wanted her to name after you so her name will be Alizah Gale, if he will be a boy, his name will be Charlie or Troy the second?” she said and laugh.

“Charlie is a good name.” I joked and laugh with her. Naming her son Troy is not bad but I don’t like how does it sound.

“Anyway where is my brother?” I asked her.

“He went to somewhere I don’t know, maybe he’ll be back later or tonight.” I see.

“How about the king?” I asked again.

“In his office, as usual.”

“Alright, I’ll see you later Samantha. I will just go and look for him. I will ask some questions,” She nodded her head in understanding. “Okay I’ll see you later.” I nodded as well.

I walked towards the king’s office. I knocked on the door three times before getting in.

I saw him sitting down on his swivel chair, He seems so busy but I need to interrupt him.

“May I have some of your time?” He is stopped what he was doing and look at my direction.

“Yeah, sure. Have a seat.” To watch me sitting down before asking question.

“So what I can do for you Harper?” He asked calmly. I took a deep breath before I started asking.

“Do you know what’s going on inside the werewolf territory now?” he nodded.

“Yes, I was about to tell you this later through message. But since you come here to ask, I’ll tell you.”

“The werewolf king woke up two days ago from coma and can’t remember anything. He got an amnesia. Since he was under the magic of Keriza’s mother, it will be easy to manipulate him. The whole werewolf kingdom is on danger.” I close my palm tightly, Keriza and her family is too much. Their evilness needed to end.

“Are you going to help him?” He asked me. I look at him, of course I will help him. If I won’t, who will?

“Yes, I will risk my life to save him and the whole werewolf kingdom from their hand.” I answered seriously. He nodded his head in understanding,” I understand you. Good luck then, you have the vampire kingdom support. We will be here if you needed us.” I nodded, he nodded back.

“Thank you, King.” “No worries. And one more thing, just call me brother. You’re my brother’s sister, your my sister too.” “Thank you, brother.” He nodded again.

I stood up and bow, “I won’t take anymore of your time. I’ll tale my leave now, thank again for the information.”

One week later, I’m almost done planning and preparing. I look myself into the mirror, and slowly touches my face.

I need to change what I look like, in order to make my mission successful I need to disguise. I dyed my hair blonde and cut it short up to neck level. I changed my blue eyes into my werewolf eyes which is green.

I look different but this is still me. Tomorrow I’m ready to go, I will make sure that this will be worthy. I will defeat them.

“Wow, you look great yet different,” My cousin, Lisa praised me wild intently looking at me.

“This is still me, nothing change only the look.” She went closer and touched my hair.

“You should color this often, don’t let them not know who really you are. Make them pay, Harper.” I will.

“I’m ready now, I will face them tomorrow as Freya Ridings, the woman who will take them down.” We look into each other on the mirror and then burst into laughter.

“Geez, that’s so serious of you. Anyway, should we have our last dinner together before you will go in the werewolf kingdom tomorrow?” I nodded my head and stood up.

“Sure, let’s go.”

Time pass by so quickly, the day has come.

“Be careful there, hon. If you need help, just cast the spell I taught you before.” My mom told me while hugging me. I tapped her back, “I will mom.” She let go off me and smile. I know worried but I can do this. “Just like your mother said, if you needed help don’t think twice we are always on your back. The witch Kingdom is willing to help you all the time. Take care my niece, the last hope of werewolf kingdom is on yours.” I nodded and hug her too.

“Thank you aunt Louisa.” The next person I hugged was my cousin. “Stay safe and kicking, Harper. If you will die there, I’ll find you and kill you again.” She joked causing me to laugh.

“I won’t die, silly you.” I said and playfully punch her shoulder.

“Ouch that hurts haha. You owe me a punch, I’ll punch you back when you come back. The victory is yours, Harper.” I nodded.

“All mine. I have to go now, take care everyone.” All of them nodded their heads and watched me get inside the car. The Queen’s butler will bring me inside the werewolf territory.

Upon arriving on the main city, he left me alone. I saw someone who’s guiding the new maids who will enter the Palace. I walk towards her direction.

“Name?” She asked is strictly.

“Freya Ridings,” I stated in my professional voice.

“Resume?” I handed her the folder. She look on the paper then look at me, “Freya Ridings. You passed, get inside the car.” I just nodded and did what she said.

I get inside the black car, as I get in. The driver started the engine of the car and drove off.

I’m just looking outside the car’s window in the whole duration. I miss

this place so much, I stay here half my life. It’s just a pity that, this place is full of evil persons.

“Here we are, Miss Ridings.” The car stopped moving, and he’s right. We are outside the tall and big gate of the Palace.

Here I am again. I slowly get outside the car and look up. I’ve been here as few weeks ago but it feels like eternity.

“Miss Ridings? Please follow me,” I saw Nova, one of the three sisters I’ve met before. She’s still working here, I see.

“Miss Ridings?” she repeated.

“Sorry.” She just nodded and sign me to follow her.

“I’m Nova, One of the maids here. I’ve been assigned to assist you. My sisters, Emily, Addison, you and I will be the one who will assist the King. He’s can’t remember anything as for now, so be careful, you might trigger him. He’s scary,” I just nodded.

“You’re Freya right?”

“Yes, I believe that’s my name.” not really, I’m Harper, no one can change that. She nodded, “Is that only your thing?” she pointed the black bag I’m carrying.

“Yes, it is.” Her lip’s form an o-shape. “I see, I’ll show you your room. It was next to mine, so here we are.” She opened the door.

“This is your room, that is mine-” She pointed the door next to mine, “that’s Emily’s room,” and then,” Addison room.” I just nodded my head.

“Arrange yourself inside and I’ll be back 9am today for your orientation.” As she said that, she nodded and take her leave.

She is not like that before, those three sister is funny, very alive and bubbly. Something is really wrong about this place. I just shrugged off and get inside the room.

I’ll start my plan sooner, I will free this place.
